This project will support the potential of the Civic Initiative Centre Association, a civil society organisation that has been operating and established in Słupsk for 30 years. CIO plays a key role in Słupsk and the Słupsk subregion, supporting other organizations or helping to create new ones. CIO is an important entity influencing the labour market and employment policy, among others by promoting the social economy or supporting employment in social enterprises, especially for people at risk of social exclusion. Developing effective and well-managed entities that effectively use their own and externally available human, material and financial resources to carry out the tasks for which they were appointed are the assumptions of the FEP in accordance with which the project will be implemented. The main goal of the project is to professionalize and economize the services provided by the CIO. The objective will be achieved thanks to ESF+ support, which the CIO plans to allocate to strengthening its human resources by improving the qualifications of its employees and additional employment, as well as developing a commercial offer . The goal of the project and planned activities are the result of the diagnosis of our organization. The diagnosis was carried out in several stages - analysis of internal documentation and CIO procedures, team meetings, examination of the needs of employees, including the Management Board, and external evaluation carried out by a member of the Standardization Committee of the SPLOT network, resulting in a diagnosis report adopted by the Management Board. The results of the Diagnosis show that the CIO needs improvement in the areas of management standards and procedures, financial efficiency and quality of services. In the area of management standards and procedures, the CIO will hire an external expert with whom it will develop the missing ones (e.g. Organizational Regulations) and will update existing internal procedures. Procedures will be updated, among others, on: the circulation and archiving of documents, the planning and implementation of projects, the provision of individual services as part of economic activity, the introduction of an onboarding procedure, the analysis of the organisational structure and the development of a new division of competences. With the new procedures trained internally will be a team of min. 8 pers. This will affect the quality and transparency of management and streamline the implementation of CIO projects and tasks. In the area of financial capacity, the CIO will develop its commercial offer aimed mainly at business, so that the ability to maintain employees and the functioning of the association becomes independent of project financing. The implementation of projects, including those co-financed by the ESF, is a rich experience of the CIO, at the same time a financial and human resources "trap". The lack of project funding causes disturbances in the financial stability of the organization, which in turn hinders the implementation of the CIO's statutory tasks. The area of quality of service is linked to the above. It concerns the professionalization of services by improving the qualifications of CIO employees, which are necessary to provide commercial services, such as conducting trainings for companies in the field of team building -TeamBuilding, conducting personnel audits, facilitation of change processes in a given company / institution / organization, organization of outdoor events. The acquired qualifications will also improve the quality of services provided as part of projects and allow you to go into business with a professional offer. This is very important in terms of creating good relations with business, in which a non-governmental organization is treated as an equal partner. Entrepreneurs do not want to cooperate with organizations that only conduct collections and have nothing to offer them (according to the Survey of Social and Civic Activity and Economization of the Non-Governmental Sector in Słupsk - CIO 2020). 8 people (7K,1M) will be trained in the project, of which at least 65% will increase their qualifications, in accordance with the requirements of the ESF.
