Project objective: Improve the quality of vocational education by adapting vocational schools to the changing economy, including in particular to the needs of key industries for the region. The scope of the integrated projects under Measure 6.2 and Measure 5.8 General and vocational education FEP 20221-2027 results from the Diagnosis of educational needs in the field of vocational education in schools run by the District of Lębork (in the period XI2022- XI2023). The link between the two projects results from educational shortcomings concerning the improvement of the quality and adaptation of education courses to the needs of the labour market taking into account industries crucial for the Pomeranian economy, including the adaptation of infrastructure. Their implementation determines the effectiveness of the assumed activities - synergy effect. The project is a continuation of "Professionals on the top - improving the quality of vocational education in the Lębork area by rebuilding, expanding, modernizing the infrastructure of vocational schools. in Lębork, their equipment and retrofitting and continuing education", um. no RPPM.04.01.00-22-0011-16, real period. 01.12.2016-31.03.2022 and design "Professional competence as an investment in the future of the Lębork County", No RPPM.03.03.01-22-0020/16, real period. 01.12.2016-31.10.2021. Project type: -purchase of durable equipment, including equipment, tools and teaching aids of existing vocational schools, furniture, in particular vocational training workshops, teaching laboratories, workshops and rooms for practical vocational training (ZSMI, PCE, ZSGŻiA) -reconstruction, construction works, renovation of vocational school facilities, including school buildings, workshops - exclusively in connection with the first type of project (ZSMI and PCE). Activities will continue in the following industries:-electronics-mechatronics (ELM) in ZSMI, -forwarding-logistics (SPL)-TL in PCE and the development of new: ICT (INF)-NT in ZSMI and hospitality-gastronomy-tourism (HGT) in ZSGŻiA. The district of Lębork is the governing body of the profession for the three above-mentioned schools. All renovation and modernization works and the purchase of equipment will contribute to the achievement of the assumptions and objectives of: -increasing the quality of education, -increasing the skills and competences of teachers of practical and theoretical vocational training, -increasing the skills and competences of technical students. -the creation of an appropriate, modern database of eddakt., reflecting real working conditions. The project responds to diagnosed problems: the technological gap between school and business, the differences between the core curriculum of vocational education and the expectations of the labour market, the lack of practical vocational skills of graduates, the lack of practical classes on simulators in school laboratories. The project was identified as part of a package of projects implementing strategic projects entitled: ‘Shaping the network of vocational schools in Pomerania-Stage II’, as indicated in the Regional Strategic Programme for Education and Social Capital and coordinated by the Provincial Government. The activities carried out as part of the project were agreed, among others, with employers, teachers, students and parents.Forms of cooperation with employers, including: cooperation in the development of curricula, organisation of apprenticeships/traineeships/practical activities for pupils/teachers, consultation on equipment.The investment and equipment solutions adopted ensure project neutrality vis-à-vis horizontal EU policies.
