The project’s applicant and beneficiary is the Commune of Bytów. The project will be implemented at the Castle in Bytów, located at ul. The Castle 2. The castle complex is located on plots 88 and 92 within Bytów. The owner of the above properties is the commune of Bytów. The scope of the investment includes expenses in the form of costs of construction works with fixed equipment, costs of additional equipment, costs incurred as part of cross-financing mechanisms, costs of investor supervision and costs in the field of project promotion. The eligible expenditure consists of all the net costs of the project, while ineligible expenditure includes VAT, i.e.: a. Eligible expenditure: - construction works, including the purchase of fixed equipment: revitalization of the facade, reconstruction and change of the use of the basement with the purchase of permanent equipment, replacement of roofing and exterior joinery, sanitary works (basement), electrical works - Różana Tower, electrical works - adaptation of the basement, - purchase of equipment and equipment: purchase and equipment of a stand for the production of video materials, purchase of a 3D scanner, purchase of a stage with a canopy, - expenses as part of cross-financing related to the promotion of the Castle and popularization of its history: production of films concerning the history of the castle (5 pcs.), production of film animations concerning the history of the castle for children (5 pcs.), publications on the Internet of books in digital form - catalogues of more interesting museum collections, - Investor supervision with control of settlement of construction, - Promotion of the project, b. Ineligible expenditure: - VAT on eligible costs. Based on the identified needs, the main objective of the project was set as ‘the increase in the importance of the cultural offer of the Bytów Castle for the socio-economic development of the city and the region’. The main objective thus defined consists of the specific objectives set: - revitalization of the Castle in Bytów; creating a rich cultural offer for residents and tourists; - promotion of the historic Castle. The total investment expenditure for the project will amount to PLN 8 382 224.09, of which PLN 6 814 816.33 are eligible costs under the ERDF. The project will be implemented between 2024 and 2025. Construction works will start in Q2 2024 and will be completed by the end of 2025. The entire scope of the project concerning construction works is consistent with the obtained decisions conditioning the investment, in particular with: Decision No 150/2017/M of 14 April 2017 approving the construction project and granting the building permit and Decision No ZND.5142.46.2020.MK of the Pomeranian Provincial Conservator of Monuments of 15 July 2020 (as amended) authorising construction works at the Castle. This application is submitted as part of a project type: Construction, restoration, conservation or adaptation of historic buildings and complexes entered in the register of monuments and giving them new functions or developing existing functions serving social, cultural and, additionally, tourist and economic purposes.
