The subject of the project is the plastic and spatial modernization of the permanent exhibition and carrying out the necessary construction, conservation and restoration works in the historic buildings of the headquarters of the Archaeological Museum in Gdańsk at ul. Mariacka 25/26, serving cultural and educational activities along with obligatory cultural and educational activities. The main goal of the Project is to increase the participation of the inhabitants of Gdańsk and the region in culture, and thus increase the sense of identity and social cohesion of the region. This objective will be achievable by: - improving the state of infrastructure and creating conditions for the provision of cultural and educational services aimed at different age and social groups, including through the implementation of solutions for increasing accessibility for people with special needs; - expanding the cultural and educational offer to include activities that activate and include people at risk of social exclusion; - improving the competences of the staff of cultural institutions. The project consists of 2 tasks carried out as part of the complex of facilities of the House of Naturalists (the scope covered by the support) and the St. Mary's Gate (the scope not covered by the support). These objects are interconnected spatially and functionally.The scope of work in the Project includes: - preparatory works, including the development and update of design documentation for construction and assembly works related to the modernisation of the exhibition, thermal modernization and replacement of the roof covering and an executive project to strengthen the foundations of the House of Naturalists, as well as the development of design documentation for construction and assembly works for the reconstruction of the interior of the Mariacka Gate; - Construction and assembly works, including adapting the facility to the needs of people with disabilities; Equipment, purchase of equipment, including the execution and assembly of exhibitions, creation of digital content, equipment for new educational activities; - Investor and author's supervision; - Fin. cross-new, cyclical educational and cultural activities addressed to various social and age groups, aimed at, among others: social inclusion, social capital building, inclusion of people at risk of exclusion; - Fin. cross-training of staff in order to increase the quality of the Museum's services; Promotion of the project. There are no legal, formal or technical restrictions to complete the Project. All documents determining the feasibility of the investment are up-to-date and in accordance with applicable law: The applicant has at its disposal full design documentation (construction design, executive designs, investor's estimates). The Pomeranian Provincial Conservator of Monuments and the building permit were obtained. - House of Naturalists including: (1) modernization of the exhibition-construction permit WUiA-VI.6740.160-2.2017.PE.30746 of 24.03.2017, (2) thermal modernization of the roof-construction permit WUiA-VI.6740.1742-3.2019.OZ.375527 of 29.09.2019 and (3) strengthening the foundations-construction permit WUiA-VI.6740.160-2.2017.PE.30746 of 24.03.2017; - Mariacka Gate (reconstruction of the interior of the facility)- building permit WUiA-VI.6740.1848-4.2020.SA.483286 of 09.06.2021. Construction and conservation works are already being carried out in the facilities by Restauro Sp. z o.o. on the basis of contract No ZP/01/2021 of 30 July 2021. • Development and updating of design documentation for construction and assembly works: l. 2016-2021; • Elaboration of the executive design of the arrangement of the permanent exhibition and its updates: l. 2020-2023 • Construction and assembly works in the facility: Q3 2021-Q4 2024 • Preparation and conduct of procedures for the selection of contractors for the delivery and installation of the exhibition: Q3-4 2024; • Supply and installation of permanent exhibition equipment and facilities: Q1-Q2 2025; • HR-final cross-training: Q3 2024-Q2 2027; • Cross-financing educational activities: Q3 2025-Q2 2027; • Promotion of the Project: Q1 2025-Q2 2025
