The sustainable urban mobility project in the Suwałki Municipal Functional Area is comprehensive and covers both the purchase of zero-emission bus rolling stock (electric vehicles), the construction, reconstruction and modernisation of infrastructure for urban transport and complementary forms of mobility, as well as the digitisation of the mobility system in cities and their functional areas. The project assumes: - purchase of MIDI electric buses with chargers (5 pcs.) and MAXI electric buses with chargers (5 pcs.), - garage with photovoltaics, trafostation and energy storage with a capacity of approx. 2 MWh, - digitization of the mobility system; ticket distribution system with ticket validators for current ON and CNG buses and electric buses; electronic boards with assembly (4 pcs.), infokiosks equipped with a photovoltaic panel (5 pcs.), Google system for trip planning, - modernization of the green square located at the confluence of ul. Z. Podhorski and ul. Grabowa with the construction of a solar bench, - construction of 6 walking and cycling routes on: ul. Loss of length is ok. 606m (on the section from the intersection with ul. Łąkowa to the intersection with ul. Waryńskiego), ul. Pułaski with a length of approx. 600m (on the section from the intersection with ul. Kowalski to property no. 105/ Oil Transfer fuel station), ul. W. Pilecki with a length of approx. 250m (from ul. S. Wyszyński to ul. F. Chopina), ul. The length of the hospital is approx. 160m (from ul. Legions to ul. I. Daszyńskiego), ul. Witosa with a length of approx. 550m (from ul. A. Patli to ul. M. Reja), in the vicinity of Suwałki boulevards and the Park / Sensory Garden with a length of approx. 90m with the construction of a footbridge over the Czarna Hańcza river. - construction of concrete bays with delivery and installation of green shelters constituting green stops, purchase and installation of solar powered shelters to illuminate the shelters, smart bus shelter on ul. Loss at the bus station (interchange center) equipped with photovoltaic panels (1 pcs). The project will result in the development of sustainable urban mobility at MOF Suwałki and greater use of public transport by its residents, who will be the main users of the project.
