The main objective of the project: The ‘Development of the Stalowa Wola Mobile MOF – Phase I’ is more environmentally friendly, low-emission and moving towards a zero-emission economy urban mobility. This will be achieved by promoting a clean and fair energy transition, green and blue investments. As part of the project, the following tasks are planned: 1. Purchase of 5 new electric buses for public transport; 2. Construction of a new bus depot in Stalowa Wola; 3. Construction and reconstruction of bus loops in Stalowa Wola along with modernization of existing charging stations; 4. Construction of new bicycle paths in Stalowa Wola; 5. Construction of new bus stops with bays in new locations and construction of new green stops along the Al. John Paul II in Stalowa Wola; 6. Expansion of the dynamic passenger information system along with the expansion of the server room; 7. Construction, reconstruction and extension of P&R car parks in the Municipality of Zaleszany; 8. Construction of interchange centres with the construction of a pedestrian-bike path and a pavement in the municipality of Pysznica – execution of construction projects; 9. Results of the project: • Population using new or modernised digital urban transport systems: 783 000 people; • Number of vehicles using parking spaces in built, rebuilt or retrofitted park-and-ride facilities: 22 292 units; • Annual number of users of cycling infrastructure: 10 700 persons; • Annual number of users of new or upgraded public transport: 273,604 users, • Estimated greenhouse gas emissions: 482.41 tonnes CO2eq/year.
