Construction of the Nowy Korczyn ring road

The investment will consist in the construction of the bypass of Nowy Korczyn with a length of 3.497 km, the parameters of the main road "GP" and a load capacity of 11.5 t per axle. The bypass will follow a new trail: - start of route km 0+000 - inclusion in DK 79 (in km 277 +751 DK 79), - intersection with the existing DW 973 in km 2+154 - (in km 22 + 710 DW 973), - end of route km 3 + 496.71 - inclusion in DK 79 (in km 274 + 755 DK 79). In km 1+048,5 of the ring road, the MD-1 bridge was designed in km 7 + 686 of the Nida River. The investment in question consists in setting a new route for the aforementioned provincial road – bypassing the town from the north and west. This procedure is aimed at moving transit traffic outside the built-up areas (centre of Nowy Korczyn). The areas where the ring road is planned are mainly agricultural land and unused land. The main objective of the project, consistent with the objective of the programme and the action, is to develop and improve sustainable, climate-resilient mobility at national, regional and local level, including improving access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility, by building a bypass of the city of Nowy Korczyn along the provincial road No 973. The project concerns the construction or reconstruction of bypasses listed in the SZOP FEPW 2021-2027 – the project concerns the construction of the bypass of the city of Nowy Korczyn within the provincial road No 973. The main users of the project will be residents of the Świętokrzyskie voivodship, in particular residents of the Buskie poviat and the municipality and city of Nowy Korczyn, entrepreneurs from the region, investors, traveling on the DW 973, traveling on the DK79 and DK 73 roads. The road section under construction connects directly to the TEN-T network: - DW 973 connects directly to the A4 motorway belonging to the TEN-T network - Tarnów Mościce junction (Wierzchosławice) - implemented under the project entitled ‘Construction of the connection between the A4 motorway junction in Wierzchosławice and the SAG in Tarnów’. In addition, DW 973 connects indirectly to the TEN-T network: - connects via DK 73 to the A4 motorway belonging to the TEN-T network – Tarnów-Centrum junction; - connects via DK 73 to the S7 road of the TEN-T network – Kielce-Północ junction; - connects via DK 73 to the S74 road of the TEN-T network in the city of Kielce; - connects via DK 79 to the A4 motorway of the TEN-T network in the city of Kraków; - connects via DK 79 to the S7 road of the TEN-T network in the city of Kraków; More in the Feasibility Study. 2.4.
