Construction of the Bogoria bypass along provincial road No 757

The investment will consist in the construction of the Bogoria bypass along provincial road No 757 between Opatów and Stopnica, with the parameters of the main road ‘G’ and a load capacity of 11.5 tonnes per axle. The start of the investment was located in Kiełczyna (existing kilometre of provincial road No 757 – 21+884, and the local kilometre for the project is 0+000). The investment consists in setting a new route for the aforementioned provincial road – bypassing the town from the west and south-west. The aim of this procedure is to move transit traffic outside the built-up areas (centre of Bogoria). The end of the planned investment is just behind Bogoria, within DW 757 (existing DW 757 km – 24+448 and the local kilometre is 2+510) The main objective of the project, consistent with the objective of the programme and the action, is to develop and improve sustainable, climate-resilient mobility at national, regional and local level, including improving access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility, by building the Bogoria bypass along provincial road No 757. The project concerns the task listed in the SZOP FEPW 2021-2027 - construction or reconstruction of bypasses. The main users of the project will be inhabitants of the Świętokrzyskie voivodship, in particular residents of the district of Staszów and the municipality of Bogoria, entrepreneurs from the region, investors, travelling on the DW 757 road, travelling on the S74 (in progress) and DK 73 roads, travelling towards the Zosin-Uściług border crossing point (Polish-Ukrainian road border crossing point located in the Lubelskie voivodship, to which DK 74 leads). Direct connection of the road section under construction/reconstruction, to the TEN-T network or to border crossing points or other sustainable transport modes: The DW 757 project connects the S74 road (in progress) with the DK 73 road, improving communication in the eastern part of the voivodeship and access to the Zosin-Uściług border crossing point. The road section under construction connects directly to the TEN-T network: - DW 757 connects directly to the TEN-T road S74 (in progress) - Opatów junction (former name Marcinkowice junction). In addition, DW 757 connects indirectly to the TEN-T network: - connects via DK 9 to the A4 motorway belonging to the TEN-T network – Rzeszów-Północ junction (in this place also to the S19 road); - connects via DK9 to the TEN-T road S12 (in preparation) - Radom-Skaryszew junction (in preparation); - connects via DK 73 to the A4 motorway belonging to the TEN-T network – Tarnów-Centrum junction; - connects via DK 73 to the S7 road of the TEN-T network – Kielce-Północ junction; - via DK 73 73, connects to the S74 road of the TEN-T network in the city of Kielce. More in the SW section. 2.4. The road section under construction connects directly with other sustainable transport modes: - DW 757 is directly linked to the ‘Staszowski Strefa Gospodarczy w Grzybowie’ task carried out under the project entitled: ‘Multifunctional Economic Activity Area of Staszów’. The investment consists in launching a transhipment port in the Grzybów region. The main objective of the project is to exploit the potential of two railway lines: Wide-gauge freight line 65 (LHS), which connects Poland with Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and China and enables direct export and import of goods from the Far East, as well as standard-gauge line 70, which would enable further transport of goods on railway routes in Poland and Europe. The launch of a transhipment port based on railway lines, combined with the adaptation of the road system in the area of the future investment, including the DW 757 project, will create a transhipment port in the Grzybów area operating in a multimodal system. The main task of such a transhipment port will be handling and transport of multimodal transport units arriving at the port and assigned goods for road and rail transport.
