The scope of the project includes works on the section Stalowa Wola - Tarnobrzeg - Sandomierz - Ocice - Padew, which consists of: • LOT A, including modernisation of the following sections of railway lines: - Sandomierz (without station) - Sobów (with station), i.e. from km 242,327 to km 249,750 of line 25; - Sobów (with station) - Zbydniów (with station), i.e. from km -1.021 to km 17.035 of line No. 74; - Sandomierz (without station) - Grębów (with station), i.e. from km 1,420 to km 10,783 of line No. 78. • LOT B, including modernisation of the following sections of railway lines: • Sobów (without station) - Padua National Park (with station), i.e. from km 249,750 to km 275,300 of line 25. • LOT C, including modernisation of the following sections of railway lines: - Zbydniów (without station) - Stalowa Wola Rozwadów Towarowy (with station), i.e. from km 17,035 to km 23,124 of line No 74; In addition, on the adjacent sections, work will be carried out in the telecommunications and traffic engineering industries, ensuring the full functionality of the Project. The detailed scope of these works is presented in the ARSW. The material scope of the Project includes in particular: • replacement of the railway surface, reinforcement of the track in places with reduced load capacity, reconstruction of embankments with tracks in places where the railway line is moved, construction of drainage; • modernisation of the overhead contact line; • reconstruction of 8 railway bridges; • modernisation of 3 railway stations (Grębów, Tarnobrzeg, Chmielów); • modernization of 3 passenger stops (Wielowieś, Dąbrowica Małopolska, Turbia) • construction of 7 passenger stops (Tarnobrzeg Sobów, Tarnobrzeg Ocice, Tarnobrzeg Olszynka, Kępie Zaleszańskie, Zbydniów, Skopanie, Padew Narodowa); • construction of 9 platforms (Tarnobrzeg Sobów – 1, Tarnobrzeg Ocice – 1, Tarnobrzeg Olszynka – 1, Kępie Zaleszańskie – 2, Zbydniów – 2, Skopanie – 1, Padua National – 1); • modernisation of 8 platforms (Tarnobrzeg – 1, Chmielów – 1; Dąbrowica Małopolska – 1, Wielowieś – 2, Grębów – 1, Turbia – 2); • dismantling unnecessary railway infrastructure; • redevelopment of railway traffic control equipment, electricity (power, lighting, EOR, etc.), telecommunications; • reconstruction of foreign infrastructure in conflict with the investment project being carried out. The result of the project will be the modernization of 16,020 km of 2-track sections of railway lines and 50,461 km of 1-track sections of railway lines. The project will be implemented in the Design (executive projects) and Build formula, under one contract, by the South Region Investment Implementation Centre, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in the following district: Sandomierz, the municipality of Sandomierz and the Podkarpackie Voivodeship in the districts of Stalowa Wola, Mielec, Tarnobrzeg, Tarnobrzeg, Tarnobrzeg, Gorzyce, Grębów, Nowa Dęba, Baranów Sandomierski, Zaleszany, Stalowa Wola, Padew Narodowa. The planned works are planned on the basis of 4 building permits, including: • 2 licences – for LOT A; • 1 licence - for LOT B; • 1 permit - for LOT C. As a result of the implementation of the Project, the technical infrastructure will be adapted to the following parameters: • section Zbydniów – Stalowa Wola Rozwadów Towarowy: - maximum speed of 200 km/h for passenger trains, excluding tracks and level crossings adapted to a speed of 160 km/h; o for freight trains – 120 km/h. • other sections covered by the Project: - maximum speed of 120 km/h for passenger trains; o for freight trains – 80 km/h. As a result, the project will result in particular in: • reducing driving times, • improving line capacity, frequency, connectivity and punctuality of connections, • increasing the availability of rail transport, • improving static and dynamic passenger information and information for carriers, • improving safety, • rationalising the costs of operating and maintaining managed infrastructure, • reducing the negative impact of transport on the environment0.
