Western Pomerania - a new dimension of innovation

The aim of the project is to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem and to continue the entrepreneurial discovery process based on the regional innovation strategy. The implementation of this objective is to contribute to the development of an innovation-friendly environment and increase the intensity of cooperation in R&D&I activities. The project will be multidimensional and its tools will be focused in four areas - the Observatory of Change (research and analysis), the Knowledge Accelerator (animation of smart specialisations and extension of knowledge in the field of innovation), the Innovation Forum (conferences, debates, competitions, innovative events) and the Science Zone (strengthening and promoting science). As part of the project, it is mainly planned to strengthen the entrepreneurial process discovered, among others by providing tools, e.g. analysis, expertise, studies to monitor and analyze the development of smart specializations of the region and dissemination of R&D&I activities, e.g. supporting, initiating and organizing events and initiatives popularizing science, stimulating creativity, entrepreneurship and innovative attitudes, integration and activity of entities involved in the development of smart specializations. It is also planned to organize a platform for cooperation, education, business support, exchange of knowledge, experience for the search for ideas and solutions in the field of innovation together with pilot actions involving the business community, innovators, scientists, IOB to develop new solutions in accordance with the concept of smart specialization. For the implementation of the project, it will also be important to support the development of cooperation between enterprises in the science sector, social and economic partners and public sector entities in the process of creating, developing and implementing innovations and developing mechanisms of knowledge diffusion in the economy, as well as technology transfer. In addition, it is planned to implement development programs, including those increasing the innovative potential of enterprises, adaptation to changes, e.g. in the business model, or its scalability, but also building and developing the skills and competences of institutions and entities forming the innovation ecosystem (e.g. by: postgraduate studies, training, workshops, seminars, webinars, dedicated lectures, domestic and foreign study visits, provision of external advice, improvement of competence in commercialisation and technology transfer, etc.). The support will complement the intervention planned in the other activities of CP1, helping to create the conditions for stable, sustainable economic growth of the Zachodniopomorskie voivodship based on the development of innovation, in particular in the areas of smart specialisation and referring to industrial transformation, entrepreneurship development and the ability of enterprises to adapt to change. The activities outlined in the project are logically related to each other, creating a coherent concept of support. They have been developed and consulted with the socio-economic partners, and some of them will be implemented in cooperation with the IOB. Information and promotion activities are planned in the project. Information about the project, along with a description of its activities and the source of financing, can be found on the innovation.wzp.pl website. Similar messages will be given during the implementation of each task and placed on the social media of the Applicant and project partners. The project assumes the use of various forms of communication, e.g. short videos, publication of sponsored articles on online portals, broadcasting of radio spots and the use of roll-ups during the implementation of planned events.
