Purchase of a light rescue and fire-fighting car with specialized equipment for TSO Stepnica

The subject of the project is 1.purchase of a light reconnaissance, rescue and firefighting car pick-up type and rescue equipment. The car will be armed (ineligible cost) with a high-pressure fire extinguishing unit, the so-called rapid attack to extinguish small fires and rooms in the first stage of development 2. purchase of a quad vehicle with a trailer for search and patrol actions 3. One of the tasks of the project will be the promotion of the project consisting in the execution and placement of an information board at the headquarters of the TSO Stepnica. Promotional activities will be carried out on the social profile of the unit and on the website of the Municipality of Stepnica. The identified problem of our area is the insufficient state of fire safety and protection against the effects of extraordinary environmental threats, this problem is exacerbated by the unsatisfactory degree of efficiency of the rescue equipment of the Municipality of Stepnica. When diagnosing needs, the following elements were taken into account: - the number of trips of the rescue unit to events in the last 2 years was 121 - the average monthly number of interventions in the last 2 years was 5.04 - the number of fire trucks as at the date of submission of the application is 3 vehicles aged 2005, 2007, and 2010 - the average age of equipment of the unit for vehicles is 16.50 years. The applicant decided to implement the project after analyzing the facts. The analysis and experience to date have shown that measures are necessary to equip rescue and firefighting services. The decision was taken on the basis of the problems described above, from which it can be concluded that in order to counteract the above-mentioned threats, environmental protection infrastructure should be developed, including equipment provided by the Voluntary Fire Service unit. The needs identified in the previous part of the project result from insufficient protection of residents, entrepreneurs and local government against threats resulting from human and natural activities. The basic problem is the lack of basic equipment of rescue and firefighting units, which, due to their competences, are obliged to ensure the safety of residents of the Goleniów District area. In the case of the project under consideration, the lack of equipment is related to the lack of equipment for rescue, firefighting and reconnaissance activities. One of the effects of the project will be an increase in the flood safety of residents. Thanks to the new ground-based car and quad, it will be possible to have easier access to flood dikes, which are several dozen kilometers in the Stepnica and Goleniów Communes. The need to patrol this type of objects is associated with the activity of an increasing number of beavers, which effectively destroy the ramparts. No other car is able to check the technical condition of the shafts. An important factor in improving safety is the increased mobility of the motor boat, which will be transported by the new car. Currently, the tow truck with the boat is attached to a 2005 Nissan Nawara car, which is not fully adapted to this type of task. In addition, due to its age, it is a worn-out and unreliable car. The location on the Szcz. Lagoon poses a threat to people using the advantages of the water, including tourists, anglers, fishermen, sailors. The speed of rescue on the water is very important. Thanks to the new car, the time to reach the victims on the water and in the field will be reduced to a minimum. All information and promotion activities concerning the project will be marked, especially documents related to the implementation of the project. Stickers will be placed on the equipment and vehicles purchased under the project. An information board will be placed on the TSO's fire station. On the commune's website and social profile. Municipalities and TSOs - description of the project.
