Strengthening the rescue capacity of the Voluntary Fire Brigade in Świnoujście-Przytór in the field of counteracting threats

The project involves the purchase and delivery of: - a medium-sized rescue and fire-fighting vehicle with equipment; - light reconnaissance and rescue car; - a hose trailer with a set of hoses; - rescue and firefighting equipment; -Communication equipment. In addition, it is planned to incur costs for information and promotion activities and indirect costs. The implementation of the project will result in the achievement of indicators: - Area covered by protection measures against uncontrolled fires [ha] - 20 207 - Population benefiting from protection measures against uncontrolled fires [persons] - 39 368 The project will achieve objectives such as: • Better safeguarding the life, health, public and private property of the community as a whole; • Increased efficiency and effectiveness in addressing environmental and natural risks; • Adapting the equipment capacity of the rescue and firefighting unit to the increasing environmental safety needs; • Undisturbed socio-economic development of the municipality; • Improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality; • Reducing emissions from rescue and firefighting vehicles through the purchase of a medium-sized, cleaner-powered rescue and firefighting vehicle. In view of the above, the project in question fits in with the objective of Action 2.15 Strengthening the rescue services of the European Funds for Western Pomerania Programme 2021-2027. The Applicant, Investor, Beneficiary of the project will be the Municipality of the City of Świnoujście. The applicant shall have adequate technical and human resources for the implementation of the project and experience in the implementation of projects co-financed by the EU. The project's products will be transferred to the Volunteer Fire Brigade unit in Świnoujście-Przytorze, which will act as the operator of the project's products. Institutional potential at the investment and operational stage will be provided by the Applicant's employees with many years of experience in the implementation of this type of investment and the Operator's employees with substantive knowledge in the field of conducting rescue and firefighting interventions. It is planned, among others, to design, manufacture, delivery and assembly of 1 information and memorial board, delivery of stickers for equipment and equipment and cost-free forms of promotion, i.e. on the Applicant's website and marking the documentation related to the project. The information and memorial board will be set up in a clearly visible place – so that bystanders have no doubt as to what the project aims to achieve and what the source of its funding is. The website will contain a short description of the project, photographs presenting the effects of the project, the following list of logotypes: FE mark specific to the programme, colours RP, EU mark. The EU flag with the inscription "European Union" will be visible from the moment you visit the website. The applicant will inform the institution that awarded the grant about important stages in the project and planned information and promotion events related to the implementation of the project and will document information and promotion activities.
