Improving working conditions in the social assistance unit in Będzin

The main objective of the project is to implement a program of support for employees of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Będzin (GOPS) in the field of eliminating health risk factors in the workplace and psychological support for employees (types 1 and 3 of the recruitment). The project will run from 1.03.2025 to 31.08.2025 . The actions implemented will achieve the main result of the call defined by the indicator: Number of people who, as a result of the implementation of outplacement support/improving the working environment, took up work or continued employment – 18 people (17K+1M). Support in the project is addressed to employees of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Będzin, who at the diagnosis stage expressed their willingness to participate in the project and indicated needs in the area of at least one of the areas of support. As part of the project, activities will be carried out: 1) in the field of prevention of workplace-related diseases (adaptation of workplaces to the individual needs of 12 participants) 2) related to increasing knowledge about health risk factors in the workplace and preventive or corrective actions in the field of harmful or annoying factors occurring in the workplace (physiotherapeutic consultations workshops with a psychologist), 3) in the field of mental health prevention in the form of, for example, workshops on coping with stress and preventing burnout, 4) in the field of preventive screening (for 15 people). The main result of the project will be the improvement of the working conditions of 18 people employed by the Applicant and the popularization of screening tests. The planned activities do not replace mandatory occupational medicine activities, which the employer is obliged to carry out under Chapter VI of the Act of 26 June 1974. -Code of work (i.e. Journal of Laws 2023, item 1465, as amended) and the Occupational Medicine Service Act of 27 June 1997 (Journal of Laws Journal of Laws 2022, item 437 as amended), nor the employer's obligations under the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 26 September 1997 on the general provisions on health and safety at work.
