The project ‘Creation of pre-school facilities in PM5 Stargard’ concerns the creation of 68 new pre-school facilities in the Municipality of Stargard and the improvement of the quality of support for children attending kindergarten, including for children with disabilities. The Municipality of Stargard is involved in the implementation of the task, as the applicant and the Municipal Kindergarten No. 5 with Integration Departments "Fairy Tale Corner" in Stargard (PM5) as the project implementer. The Municipality of Stargard submits the application itself. A diagnosis of PM5 has been prepared, which is the basis for the planned activities in the project. The main objective of the project is to increase the availability of pre-school places for residents of the Stargard Municipality and to improve the quality of pre-school education by the end of October 2024. Specific objectives of the project: Objective 1: Creation of 68 pre-school places in PM5, including for children with disabilities by the end of November 2023. Objective 2: Improving the quality and accessibility of pre-school education in PM5 by organising additional/specialist classes for a minimum of 240 pre-school children attending PM5 by the end of October 2024. Objective 3: Increase the competences of 30 teachers working in PM5 in the areas of work with children with disabilities, work with migrant children and in child support and development by the end of October 2024. The project is addressed to preschool children attending PM5 and teachers working in PM5, as well as PM5 itself, in which most of the planned activities in the project will be implemented. The result of the project: Creation of 68 pre-school places to be recruited. Improve teachers’ competences in the areas identified in the specific objective of project 3, increase the availability of additional and specialised activities for pre-school children. The main tasks in the project are: creation of 68 pre-school places (three groups), organization of training for individual and group teachers, organization of 436 hours of additional classes, organization of 600 hours of specialized classes for children, organization of 5 away activities.
