Stepnica - a port of high quality education

The mission of the Stepnica Commune included in the Commune Development Strategy until 2025 is: "achieving sustainable development ensuring a high quality of life for its inhabitants". As part of the implementation of the mission, the need for action in the field of education was pointed out, with particular reference to three areas: -improving the effects of education, -improving the efficiency of education processes. -maintaining and improving teaching conditions. The need for such activities is also included in the Local Revitalization Program G Stepnica for the years 2017-2023 (the schools covered by the project include a student from revitalization areas), which sets the goal:KR.S.J.1(30 points) - to improve the quality of education offer, especially for schoolchildren. SP in Stepnica as part of the K. Maciejewicz School and Pre-School Complex and SP in Ks.J. Twardowski Racimierz. Schools implement the above objectives by undertaking a number of additional activities, e.g. by participating in projects financed from external sources (ESF; Interreg; Laboratories of the future) as well as introducing modern methods of operation, such as working with the educational project method. (e.g.: Warm Card, Bees, Cinderella). Unfortunately, the actions indicated do not bring the expected results: the educational results of the pupils of the indicated schools from the eight-grade exam are lower than the average JPA.In the years 2020-2022, the results in mathematics were lower every year; in addition, SP Stepnica had two lower scores for Polish (2020 and 2021);Sp Racimierz –j.polski had two lower scores for 2021.KR.S.J.2(25 points) Hence the need to implement Mr Stepnica-port of high-quality education, the aim of which was, in particular, to improve the quality of education. It is ‘to improve and ensure access to high-quality general education in the municipality of Stepnica by implementing a comprehensive support programme including: classes and workshops for students; education-professional counselling; courses for n-li; establishing a system of psychological support and introducing the principles of inclusive education into institutions in the period II.2024-XII.2025r’KR.S.D.8 Through the indicated actions, it is planned to achieve the following.c.detailed (KRYT.WSP.JAK No 1): 1. Improve basic competences 300 pupils (150K), including digital competences 140pupils (70K) 2. Development of social and civic competences, entrepreneurial (128os;64K), green (28os;14K) 3. Improvement of mental and emotional condition 100teach and raising the qualifications 36 n-li in the field of emotional and psychological support enabling the introduction of a permanent psychological support system to 2 schools 4. Increased opportunities for learners in the labor market thanks to personalized career counseling (100os;50K). 5. Increasing the attractiveness of teaching in schools by strengthening, developing and improving teachers' competences (36 n-li;30K) and equipping educational bases with ICT equipment and teaching materials of 2 schools. The objectives and actions indicated stem directly from the ‘Diagnosis of needs’ documents of the institutions covered by the project, which looked at the problems and needs of schools in a multidimensional manner, primarily in the context of equal opportunities. The diagnoses were approved by the lead authority before the application for funding was submitted.KR.S.D.2 The objectives set relate to the JPA Development Strategy for 2030 (strategic objective I ‘open community’). By paying particular attention to issues related to mental health, learners respond to the challenges of post-covid education policies aimed at ‘achieving a distorted balance between overvalued teaching and undervalued education supplemented by prevention’ (Integrated Prevention Institute Report ‘How to support a learner after a year of epidemic? Challenges and recommendations"). In addition, supporting the pupil both in the educational process and their emotional and psychological state is consistent with the JPA Education policy, according to which the aim is to develop the potential of schools , so that the school is an entity "in which children are taught, not subjects, which does not teach and helps to find solutions".The application submitted 1 application as part of the call.
