The aim of the project is to increase the qualifications/competences/skills of 7574 adults from the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship (WZ) (including 4166 K and 3408 M) by 30.09.29, who on their own initiative will benefit from support through participation in development services through the Entity Financing System (PSF) using the Development Services Database (BUR). Thanks to the implementation of the project, at least 8 910 people will be supported, including 65 people by the end of 2024 and at least 7574 (i.e. 85% of the number of persons covered by development services) will be qualified (according to the definition of the indicator in the LWK for ESF+). Continuous changes in the economy, resulting from technological developments and emerging new needs on the part of the labour market require flexibility and continuous upskilling/competences/skills from its participants. In addition, the challenges of modern times mean that adult education is treated as a basic tool for personal development and a necessary condition for professional development and social advancement. This is related to the need to supplement and improve the qualifications of adults with different status of professional activity. Improving the qualifications/competences/skills of adults under the project will improve the material situation and professional development of adults. Achieving the target will include activities such as: •professional counselling - the aim of which will be to identify UP's development needs. •development services under the voucher system - support in this respect will be possible in the system (PSF) through (BUR), through co-financing of development services, including training services, vocational training services, exams, postgraduate studies, thanks to which the project participant (UP) will have the opportunity to gain qualifications / competences / skills. •information and promotion campaign (actions referred to in Article 50(1)(e) of the General Regulation) – raising awareness of lifelong learning and presenting various methods and forms of upskilling/competences/skills. It will be implemented in two ways - on the one hand, it will be addressed to development service providers, which is crucial in the process of building the potential of BUR, on the other hand, raising awareness of the residents of WZ about the benefits of improving qualifications, overcoming mental barriers in this area and the opportunities offered by BUR. The target group of the project is at least 8910 adults (4901K, 4009M) living in the WZ (in the meaning of the CC), in particular disadvantaged (age 18-26 years or 55+ years or a person residing at the date of joining the project in the Special Inclusion Zone (SSW) in the WZ or a person with a disability.), who want to improve their qualifications/skills/competences on their own initiative. Bearing in mind that the Action under which the application is submitted is aimed at comprehensive development support for adults who want to improve their qualifications/competences/skills on their own initiative, the project is a response to regional/local needs in the GM. In addition, the project by raising skills and obtaining new qualifications by UP will contribute to the achievement of the FEPZ 2021-2027 goal for departments. 6.12.
