The main goal of the project is to create a Department of Professional Activity in Koszalin, where there is no such entity of social and professional integration. In order to create the Department of Professional Activity, the Partnership - Municipality of the City of Koszalin and the Foundation "Accelerating with Love" were created. Persons will be recruited to participate in the project are people with disabilities classified as severely disabled and people classified as moderately disabled who have been diagnosed with autism, mental retardation or mental illness.The main target group of the project is 80 people and 30 people from the immediate environment of the project participants, who will jointly participate in social and professional rehabilitation. ZAZ will be built in a building belonging to the resources of the Municipality of Koszalin, which will be entirely designed and renovated for the needs of the Department of Professional Activity in Koszalin. The project assumes the implementation of comprehensive support, the aim of which is full social, health and professional rehabilitation of potential employees from Koszalin. In accordance with local and regional needs, the predominant activity of ZAZ will be gastronomy and services for the care of green areas. To this end, the project assumes comprehensive preparation of project participants for work in the Department of Professional Activity. As part of the support, participants will take part in classes with a psychologist, economic training classes, assimilation and social communication workshops. In order to improve the integration of people with disabilities and increase motivation to change the life situation, psychoeducational and integration trips will be organized. In order to improve communication skills and interpersonal relations, trips will be organized not only for participants but also for members of their families. In order to prepare participants to perform work at ZAZ, certified vocational training and internships with employers will be organized. The aim of the project is to increase the employment of people with disabilities, especially to a significant and moderate extent, who have been diagnosed with autism, mental retardation or mental illness, and to improve the life situation of these people and their families.
