The main objective of the project is to increase equal and quick access to good quality, sustainable and affordable social services for the inhabitants of GM Szczecin, by changing the way these services are implemented, as a result of the establishment and support of the functioning of the Social Services Centre in Szczecin in the period 01.12.2024-31.12.2029. The Social Services Centre (CUS) in Szczecin will be established through the transformation of the Municipal Family Assistance Centre in Szczecin. The project is a basic project indicated in the territorial agreement of the Management Board of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship with the association of the Szczecin Metropolitan Area ITI under the FEPZ Programme. The project includes 7 substantive tasks: 1. Diagnosis and planning of CUS; 2. Implementation of the CUS concept - organizational aspect; 3. Implementation of the CUS concept - substantive aspect; 4. CUS services for people in need of support in everyday functioning (including people with disabilities) and actual carers; 5. CUS services for families with children, including those experiencing care and educational difficulties; 6. CUS services for seniors - supporting activities in activity and independence; 7. CUS services - support of specialists in direct contact with residents. The main result of the project will be the establishment of CUS in Szczecin and thus the extension of the offer of support for the social assistance system in Szczecin and the improvement of the quality of social services offered. The project will improve accessibility to social services, including for persons with disabilities. New service packages will be introduced in line with the Social Services Programme and the scope of ESF Plus intervention. In the project, 3,500 people (inhabitants of Szczecin) will be covered by social services in the local community. The target group of the project is also 300 carers of real people in need of support in everyday functioning and 160 representatives of entities / institutions providing social services in the local community. The participants of the project will be a total of 3960 people (2453 K and 1507 M).
