The project concerns the development of the functional urban area - the Association of the Szczecin Metropolitan Area, as the ITI Association - by strengthening the institutional capacity of the Association, including maintaining administrative capacity at the appropriate level, securing the entire process of strategic planning of its implementation and proper implementation. All activities in the project are aimed at the sustainable development of the functional urban area. Main tasks in the project: [1] Preparation, development and commencement of the implementation of the "SOM 2030 supra-local development strategy" + Lists of projects implementing ITI objectives (as mandatory documents in the 2021-2027 financial perspective, constituting the so-called ITI Strategy) ITI Strategy within the meaning of the Implementation Act) [2] Institutional preparation for planning, maintaining appropriate steps in the implementation, implementation and monitoring of Integrated Territorial Investments [3] Coordination of the entire process, including the inclusion of relevant (adequate) socio-economic partners and close cooperation - the so-called ITI Strategy. Advisory Body [4] Coordination of work related to the development, updating List of projects implementing the objectives of ITI [5] Creation of networking structures within the Association along with integrating activities with external entities, including functional areas (so-called ITIs). "new" ITI Associations in Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) [6] Preparation, implementation and implementation of appropriate implementing documents necessary for the implementation of the "SOM 2030 supra-local development strategy" [7] Operational and technical preparation of the Association, including the administrative unit (i.e. SSOM Offices) to carry out tasks related to the implementation of the ITI instrument [8] Information and promotion activities, including educational activities for the promotion of joint initiatives, particularly important in the field of networking between ITIs and IITs in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Achieving the project indicators is closely related to the planned and partially already implemented tasks for the implementation of the territorial strategy of the Szczecin Metropolitan Area. The project was indicated on the "List of projects implementing ITI objectives as part of a supra-local strategy", it is also included in the TERRITORIAL AGREEMENT signed between the SSOM and the Voivodeship Board. The project is indicated in item. 40 basic projects with a specific Applicant, i.e. Association of the Szczecin Metropolitan Area. The value of the project was estimated for the entire 2021-2027 programming period, with EU co-financing of PLN 7.82 million. This proposal is treated as the first application within the whole project and covers the period from January 2023 to the end of 2024. The timeframe for this application has been defined in view of the inclusion of the most up-to-date data for determining the budget - which is in line with the provisions of the call rules FEPZ.07.01-IZ.00-001/23 , project type:6, subsection IV.I.
