Reconstruction of the Municipal Centre for Culture and Environmental Education in Police - stage II

In the second stage of reconstruction of the Municipal Cultural Centre (hereinafter MOK), which is to be the subject of a project implemented as part of ZIT SOM, it is planned to rebuild the wardrobe, parts of cultural and educational rooms, rehearsals, cultural and sound laboratories (total 357 m2) with equipment, door joinery, sanitary facilities (total 74 m2), roof and facade. In line with the specific objective of Action 7.1, the integrated and inclusive development of culture will be supported through the direct implementation of the project type "Support for cultural institutions and protection of cultural heritage". The project will aim to achieve and maintain the result indicator "Number of visitors to cultural and tourist facilities supported" by creating an attractive cultural offer, the recipients of which will be estimated one year after the end of the intervention. In line with the specific objective FEPZ.07.01 Urban development (ITI), an urban cultural institution will be supported for the integrated and inclusive development of culture. By redeveloping and adapting the facility to new needs and cultural functions, the SOM cultural offer will be expanded. The project is part of the prevention of adverse phenomena in the absence of sustainable urbanization, as well as in the loss of socio-economic functions of the urban area. The support is aimed at the development of the cultural offer of the area within the framework of Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI). Scope of intervention 166 - Protection, development and promotion of cultural heritage and cultural services. According to the description of the action, the support is aimed at the social and cultural development of the institutions of the Municipal Cultural Centre in Police in the field of reconstruction with equipment contributing to increasing participation in culture. The most important stages of the project will include the selection of contractors in the basic mode, construction works and supplies, project management and promotion. The investment will be carried out on the basis of a building permit. A description of the project, its objectives and results will be published on the official website of the Police Municipality and the Municipal Cultural Centre in Police and on the social media of the above-mentioned entities, highlighting the fact that EU financial support has been received. Documents and communication materials relating to the implementation of the project, intended for the public, will visibly include information highlighting the fact that EU support has been received. The MOK building will be marked with a memorial plaque in a place clearly visible to the public, with the EU emblem in accordance with the technical parameters set out in Annex IX to the General Regulation, immediately after the start of the physical implementation of the project including construction and infrastructure activities. The description of the information and publicity tools used in the project will be in line with the principles set out in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 and the ‘Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 on information and publicity’. In 2023/2024, the first stage of the Reconstruction of the Municipal Cultural Centre in Police was carried out, subjecting the interior of the building to a thorough reconstruction: including the auditorium, equipped with professional audiovisual equipment, sound system, air conditioning, ventilation, electro-acoustic, stage, lighting, multimedia. The electrical system was replaced, the foyer was equipped and the facility for people with disabilities was adapted. Photovoltaics were installed. In the second stage, which is to be the subject of a project implemented as part of the ITI SOM, it is planned to rebuild the wardrobe, parts of cultural and educational rooms, rehearsals, cultural and sound laboratories (total 357 m2) with equipment, door joinery, sanitary facilities (total 74 m2).
