The strategy of development of the supra-local KKBOF indicates too low level of cooperation and communication between public institutions in the KKBOF area, which makes it difficult to coordinate the development of the Area, as well as indicates the untapped potential of cooperation with NGOs. In line with the strategic objective of SRP 1. Developed cooperation networks within the KKBOF there is a need to integrate partners in the framework of strengthening JTS cooperation. The project “We do more together – KKBOF ITI (2021-2027)” is part of the project pipeline 1.1 Increasing social activity and participation and strengthening intergovernmental partnerships. The project is in line with the specific objective of Measure 7.1 Supporting integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism and security in urban areas and project type 6 "Territorial development initiatives, support for administrative capacity building partnerships" for cooperation in the implementation of integrated projects. The project affects all KKBOF local governments and their residents. Support for building the administrative capacity of the KKBOF ITI partnership will translate into the correct implementation of the KKBOF ITI Strategy and the smooth implementation of projects resulting from it. It is a project specified in the Territorial Agreement of 27 August 2024, which is the basis for the implementation of ITI. The project is related to the implementation of ITI in KKBOF. Koszalin, as the ITI Partnership Leader, initiates and coordinates all tasks related to the implementation of ITI. Scope of the project: - development and implementation of the ITI Strategy, - strengthening administrative capacity and cooperation within the KKBOF partnership, - implementation and coordination of activities within the scope of the ITI Strategy, - monitoring of projects implemented within the framework of the ITI Strategy, - increasing the effectiveness of projects implemented within the framework of the KKBOF ITI, - creating joint activities and raising the awareness of residents in the field of, among others, ecology, mobility, economic development, promoting heritage, - improving the qualifications of people involved in the implementation of the ITI Strategy, including a language course, - supervising the correct implementation of the ITI Strategy, the Overseas Development Strategy of the KKBOF and SUMP, - updating strategic documents, including the ITI Strategy, the KKBOF SUMP, - coordinating cooperation with the KKBOF ITI Advisory Board, - advising on partnership, - providing administrative support for the KKBOF ITI. Eligible costs are expenditure related to the employment of project staff – 4 persons (60% of the eligible expenditure of the project). The remaining 40% relates to direct and indirect costs. Direct costs include: activities strengthening cooperation of the KKBOF partnership: organisation of conferences/meetings in partnership and development of cooperation, including foreign cooperation, exchange of experience in functional areas, improvement of professional qualifications of staff, provision of expert and legal support, e.g. in the preparation of strategic documents, purchase of office equipment and equipment. Indirect costs are also planned: information and promotion activities, purchase of office supplies and consumables, rent. Information on the implementation of the project and co-financing from EU funds will appear on the website and on the social media of the GMK, and documents and materials related to communication on the implementation of the project will be marked in a manner consistent with the ‘Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 on information and promotion’. There will be signs informing about the implementation of the project. Expenses will be incurred in accordance with the PPL Act and the internal procedures of the UMK. The tasks included in the project have already been implemented since January 2024, including ongoing work on developing the ITI Strategy, selecting projects for the ITI Strategy, coordinating the preparation and circulation of documents, including submissions to the RDOŚ, the MA, the MFiPR .
