The aim of the project is to build a network in PON technology for the competition area of 5.06.04.20 covering the areas of the Hrubieszów and Zamość counties in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. As a result of the investment, it will be covered by a network of 4,037 address points, which translates into 4,259 households and 395 enterprises. In addition, the applicant's own investments will be carried out in the amount of PLN 2,869,141.56. This will allow a further 32 out of 45 address points to be covered. The most important activities of the project include the execution of the network executive project, obtaining decisions, consents and permits, the purchase of passive and active equipment and works related to the construction of terrestrial (ducting) and terrestrial (posts) sectional networks. The technology used will allow, depending on the standard of subscriber devices used, to achieve data transfer speeds of up to 2.5Gb/s or up to 10Gb/s. At the same time, the minimum requirements for Internet access services set out in the Annex to the Rules of the competition "Requirements for the KPO/FERC Network" will be guaranteed. This means, among other things, a minimum guaranteed bandwidth measured on CPE downwards from the CPE access node (download) - 300 Mbps and a minimum guaranteed bandwidth measured on CPE upwards from the CPE to the access node (upload); 100 Mbps. The coverage of all basic address points and more than 71% of additional address points provided under the programme as part of own investments, as well as the provision of transmission parameters exceeding the minimum required under the competition, will contribute to the basic objective of support, which is "to include households (understood as residential premises) and enterprises in the coverage of networks with a capacity of at least 300 Mbps". At the same time, the applied technological solutions will ensure the scalability of the network to gigabit speeds.
