As part of the project, it is planned to build a modern fiber optic network in the area of part of the Ciechanów district, which will provide universal access to high-quality telecommunications infrastructure and modern electronic communications services in the area of project implementation and continuous support for their development. The fibre-optic access network will remove all identified ‘white spots’ by providing very high-speed internet access in the area. The digital exclusion of residents will be eradicated. The project foresees the following actions: - construction of a Traffic Exchange Point (MET) in the design area, - modernization of an existing backbone node located in Warsaw, which will also act as a PWR of the built network, - construction/modernization of network access nodes in which active access devices will be installed (OLT), - construction of a distribution network from access nodes to flexibility points acting as access points to services, - construction of subscriber connections from flexibility points to individual address points, - provision of transmission links between PWR and access nodes by increasing the flow of data transmission services already held from other operators (Orange S.A., Internet for Mazovia) or conclusion of new specific agreements for individual relations. The above actions will be implemented to the extent to provide access to broadband Internet, on the terms set out in the Competition Guidelines, for all address points indicated for implementation under the grant granted and for 100% of address points constituting own investment within the meaning of the competition documentation.
