The project envisages the construction and expansion of a very high-capacity fibre-optic network to provide ultra-fast Internet access for households, SEDs and enterprises that currently do not have high-performance Internet access. A key element of the project is to ensure open wholesale access to telecommunications infrastructure, which will increase competitiveness and the choice of diversified offers for end-users. As part of the project, the priority is to minimize the negative impact on the environment by choosing ecological and low-emission technical solutions. The implementation of this project will contribute to increasing the availability of high-speed Internet, making everyday life easier for residents and supporting education, communication and business development. The project will bring numerous benefits to local communities, improve the quality of life and create new opportunities for development. The project is part of the intervention of measure 1.1 FERC, because it contributes to ensuring universal access to very fast, reliable and efficient Internet connections in the so-called white spots. The project aims to increase the number of households covered by fixed broadband, focusing on areas of digital exclusion (the so-called NGA white spots) where there is currently no high-capacity broadband infrastructure and where the market is unlikely to provide end-users with access to networks with capacity in the near future: dwellings, enterprises - min. 300 Mb/s (download), with the possibility of increasing bandwidth to speeds measured in Gb /s (download); b) SED - min. 1 Gb/s (download).
