Education and information campaigns to disseminate the benefits of the use of digital technologies

The aim of the project is to increase citizens' awareness of the use of modern technologies. We focused on 2 main thematic areas in which we will conduct educational and information campaigns: • the area of public e-services (the aim of the campaign will be to raise awareness of e-services and to encourage citizens to use them); • the area of cybersecurity (the aim of the campaign will be to inform and educate on cyber threats); In addition, we also plan to carry out activities related to the promotion of the development of digital competences. In the project, we will carry out tasks according to a transparent structure: 1. Project management; 2. Public e-services campaign and complementary actions; 3. Cybersecurity campaign; 4. Evaluation and monitoring of the campaign; 5. Indirect costs; The result of the campaign will be comprehensive, outreach campaigns in 2 main thematic areas: • the public e-services campaign will increase awareness and take-up of e-services, in particular we will focus on the promotion of mCitizen and mDowodu applications; • the cybersecurity campaign will increase awareness of the main types of cyber threats and increase the ability to deal with them. An important topic in this area will be an educational campaign related to the protection of children and young people from cyber threats. Campaigns will consist of outreach campaigns in the media, smaller information and tactical campaigns and ongoing PR activities (free and low-cost). The project will broadcast a minimum of 4 episodes of TV, radio and Internet campaigns. The project is aimed at the general public and the main segments of this group, which are described in the analysis of the target groups of the campaign. Therefore, the whole Polish society will benefit from the implementation of the campaign. Digitalisation is an area that is growing rapidly. These are both opportunities and benefits offered by public e-services, but also threats on the Internet, which are taking on a massive scale. The campaigns carried out in the project will therefore be a response to the challenges we face in the next 4 years. The project will also translate into Poland’s implementation of the objectives set out in the FERC programme and the Digital Decade Policy Programme 2030 (including the implementation of the National Action Plan on the Digital Decade Policy Programme).
