The aim of the project is to develop a support system for entrepreneurs in difficulties in order to improve entrepreneurial competences. The project is an integral part of the public intervention for entrepreneurs in difficulty planned under the EFSD. The project proposes a new approach, based on the mentoring method, aimed at developing entrepreneurial competences. As part of the project, an analysis of the state of solutions regarding the use of mentoring as a form of support for entrepreneurs in difficulties in the European Union countries will be carried out and then a national model of mentoring for entrepreneurs in difficulties will be developed. Educational and informational activities/actions for companies in difficulty will also be carried out, including the maintenance of a self-diagnostic system for companies in difficulty. In addition, extensive cooperation with organizations/institutions working for the development of entrepreneurship in the countries of the European Union is envisaged in the above-mentioned area. Result of the project: development of a model of support for entrepreneurs in difficulties using the mentoring method. An entrepreneur in periodic difficulties means an entrepreneur who, as a result of external or internal factors, has lost the ability to conduct business or in whose opinion the risk of slowing down his social and economic development in the future is at least high. An undertaking in temporary difficulties is an entity that experiences temporary difficulties in carrying out an economic activity, excluding undertakings meeting the criteria of an undertaking in difficulty referred to in Article 2(18) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty. The developed support model is to serve entrepreneurs in difficulties, for which it will be important to develop the competences, skills and attitudes necessary to increase the effectiveness of their activities related to undertaking and implementing projects enabling achieving the assumed goals in conditions of uncertainty and risk. There is no direct target group indicated in the project. The direct beneficiary of the project result is PARP as an entity acting for the development of SMEs in Poland. Analysis of the state of solutions regarding the use of mentoring as a form of support for entrepreneurs in difficulties in the European Union countries; 2. Develop a national mentoring model for entrepreneurs in difficulty; 3. Educational and informational activities for companies in difficulty conducted by PARP, including maintenance of the self-diagnostic system for companies in difficulty; 4. Cooperation with organizations/institutions working for the development of entrepreneurship in the countries of the European Union; The experience gained from the implementation of such projects as "Early Warning Europe" (hereinafter: EWE project, COSME, 2016-2019) and ‘Early Warning System for MSMEs in Periodic Difficulties’ (hereinafter: The EWS project, under implementation under OP KED, measure 2.21), shows that it is necessary to take actions aimed at supporting entrepreneurs in the era of global economic slowdown in order to maintain a stable state of the economy's human resources in the changing environment. The implementation of the project will indirectly contribute to reducing the bankruptcy of companies, and thus to reducing job losses and counteracting unemployment. The system of supporting entrepreneurs in difficulties with the mentoring method will be developed using the experience and products developed under the above-mentioned previous projects.
