The aim of the project is to pilot the implementation of modular e-textbooks and to develop assumptions for technologically advanced e-materials supporting modern teaching and learning methods. The designed support is a continuation of activities undertaken in previous projects implemented under the HC OP and the KED OP concerning the development of digital tools, resources and didactic materials. The intervention will be implemented under the supervision of ORE experts as the next stage of the previously adopted long-term strategy of adapting the content, methods and organization of teaching to the needs of modern education. The intervention was designed in two ways, i.e. by: - pilot implementation of solutions developed in OP KED (modular e-manuals for the second stage of education), as well as the development of modular e-manuals for the third stage of education and their testing; - development of assumptions and scenarios of technologically advanced e-materials, which will contribute to the competition, which is planned to be launched by MEiN. Main tasks of the project: 1. Preparing scenarios for high-tech e-materials for general education 2. Pilot implementation of modular e-textbooks for the second stage of education in primary schools 3. Development of modular e-textbooks for secondary school 4. Pilot implementation of modular e-textbooks in secondary schools 5. Activities promoting the use of modular e-textbooks All project products will meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 and thus will be accessible to persons with disabilities. E-materials and modular e-manuals will be compatible and appropriately reflect the values, objectives and principles of the European Union as enshrined in the Treaties and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU and will be in line with the objectives of the European Education Area. The project will be implemented in accordance with legal provisions that guarantee equality between women and men and non-discrimination (with the Digital Accessibility Act, the Accessibility Act and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities). The spread of modular e-textbooks will result in a reduction in paper consumption for educational purposes, which in the future will have a positive impact on slowing down climate change (the implementation of the DNSH principle and the SDGs). The main result of the project will be made available and disseminated modular e-textbooks for primary and secondary schools, which will affect: - increasing the importance of key competences in school practice, with a particular focus on improving students' and teachers' digital skills and communication and information competences in teaching and learning; - increasing the focus on learning and adaptability in the new environment; - increasing the internal motivation of students to learn, and thus increasing the effectiveness of learning by - enabling learning with attractive methods, consistent with the interests of students; - changing the dominant role of the teacher in the educational process for the creation of an educational environment, active learning of students and self-construction of knowledge; - creating an interactive and pro-ecological educational environment providing the possibility of monitored self-education for the student; - changing the way schools work and individualizing the educational process and supporting the comprehensive development of the student. The target group for the project are institutions and employees of the education system, i.e. schools and educational institutions and their employees, students of pedagogical faculties who will use modular e-textbooks, as well as students of primary (grades IV-VIII) and secondary schools and their parents. In addition, the target group for Task 1 is the future beneficiaries of the competition.
