Development of solutions to ensure access to high-quality personalised and personalised methodological advice

The aim of the project is to prepare systemic support in the use of the tutoring and mentoring method as individualized and personalized forms of supporting the professional development of the education system staff. Effective skills development requires high-quality work of teaching staff in formal education. It depends on the skills, attitudes and working styles of the staff how the goals of education will be achieved. The preparation and support of teaching staff in the implementation of their professional role is one of the main challenges of education policy. The changing role of learners requires continuous professional development in substantive knowledge and didactic and methodological skills. The diversity of developmental and educational needs requires having the skills to work with a diverse group of learners and to individualize working with them. The project fits into the directions of activities and objectives set out in the Integrated Skills Strategy for 2030: impact area II ‘Development of skills in formal education – management’ (Measure line 5.2: Developing managerial skills in creating the conditions for professional development in the didactic and methodological skills of teaching staff) and impact area III ‘Development of skills in formal education – teaching staff’ (Direction of action 6.2: Development of didactic and methodological support). At the same time, the planned project implements the tasks provided for in Article 183 of the Education Law Act of 14 December 2016 (Journal of Laws 2024, item 737.) and in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of 28 May 2019 on teacher training facilities (Journal of Laws 2023, item 2738 and 2024, item 1247). Main tasks of the project: 1) Substantive work related to methodological advice, 2) Development of recommendations for DM and NK and assumptions regarding mentoring and tutoring in methodological advice, 3) Pilotage and dissemination activities. The project's tasks will be summarized in two reports. The first one will concern the implementation of mentoring and tutoring with elements of coaching in teacher improvement, including in particular methodological consulting, while the second one will concern the assessment of the methodological consulting system and recommendations for introducing changes. Main results to be achieved through the implementation of the project: through its activities - support for teachers - candidates for methodological counsellors (200), methodological counselling (600 people), and support for teachers (1800 people), the project will have an impact on the entire education system. Thus, the indirect recipients of the project are children, pupils and their parents.
