Gdańsk University of Technology (PG) strives to improve the quality of education in the context of the labour market and the future scientific staff of the research university, which is PG. Through the provision of education, it responds to the current needs of the economy and the demands of a changing socio-economic environment, including the vision for the future of European industry set out by the European Commission in Industry 5.0, which includes a human-centric approach, including education, training, upskilling as one of the most urgent issues to adapt to the digital transition, sustainability and resilience, including but not limited to carrying out reforms and investing in green and digital priorities (Industry 5.0. Towards a sustainable, human-centred and resilient European industry, 2021). Fashionf. and newly developed directions will be consulted with the Consultative Councils/Entrepreneurs' Council. As part of these activities, practitioners will support PG in determining the content of fashion faculties, including the subject of diploma theses to the current needs of the market in the field of key industries. Taking into account the above-mentioned social conditions, the needs and expectations of academic teachers (NA) and students (ST) of the PG and the experience of the PG in the implementation of the project under the POWER 3.5 program, the objective of the project was set, which is to increase the supply of the PG EDUCATION OFFER to the needs of economic development and green and digital transformation by 10.2026 through the implementation of a COMPREHENSIVE PROJECT including: 1. Modification of directions II st. from the aerospace industry, renewable energy, transport. Fashion directionsf.: TRANSPORT/specialties: Transport system planning and management, Intelligent transport systems, Rail transport infrastructure; CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY/ Renewable energy technologies ENERGY/ Distributed energy technologies, MATERIAL ENGINEERING/ Engineering of functional materials for renewable energy, SPACE AND SATELITAR TECHNOLOGIES/ Information and telecommunication technologies in space and satellite engineering, Engineering and Management of Space Systems. (Criter. ct. 2) The units org. universities implementing activities in the project do not have, at the time of submitting the application, a negative assessment of the quality of PKA education in the field/directions on which the activities under the project will be implemented. (Criter. ct. 3). 2. Creating a new direction of NUCLEAR ENERGY with the implemented spec. Systems and operation of nuclear power plants. 2. Improvement of 142 ST competences (training, additional practical classes, study visits), compensatory classes. 3. Development of competences of 49 NA/PG PhD students in the field of digital competences (related to fashion faculties and artificial intelligence), development of awareness and skills for the green transition (related to modified fields of study, online course on sustainable development - ZR), universal design. 4. Actions supporting the conscious choice of studies by candidates. The TARGET GROUP is (cf. 6): -177 ST (96 K and 81 M) of the directions supported in the project, -61 NA (23 K and 38 M) involved in the modification of the above-mentioned directions within the project. The main RESULT of the project with the support of ESF+ will be the acquisition/upgrading of competences/qualifications by 191 people participating in higher education (NA and ST). The objective will be achieved through the following actions: Zad. 1-6 - Modif. / elaboration of the above-mentioned directions of education along with activities addressed to ST of these directions, i.e. activities increasing competences: traineeships, study visits, training and courses, compensatory activities, a course to improve digital competences, in order to reduce early school leaving, e.g.: open days, meetings with the first-degree ST on the subject, winter school. Zad. 7 - Development of competences of the staff involved in the implementation of the process of education in the fashion faculties of PG studies.
