Improving the competences of PANS teaching staff in Chełm

The main objective of the project is to increase the didactic, digital, green transition and substantive competences of the PANS W Chełm teaching staff by III.2026 by covering 54 people (28K/26M) conducting didactic activities at the university. RESULTS: at least 46 persons (24K/22M) will improve their competences in areas important for increasing the quality of education at PANS in Chełm: Mathematical Economics, Pedagogy, Agriculture, Dietetics, Mechanics and Machine Building, Electrical Engineering, Internal Security, International Relations. The project assumes the implementation of activities that lead to obtaining/increasing by each supported didactics all obligatory competences:1) didactics (including presentation techniques and public speeches, active working methods of the academic lecturer, development of creativity, design thinking, case teaching); 2) digital (running virtual team projects, creating and running e-learning courses); 3) for the green transition (planning educational processes and classes taking into account the issues of the green economy). The scope of intervention also includes the acquisition of specialist skills/knowledge in the field of, among others, analytical workshop and tools necessary to work with the Python programming language and big data processing, tutoring and tools, methods and skills for their practical use, principles of human nutrition, evaluation of the mutual impact of pharmacotherapy and nutrition, application of ISO 9001 and ISO 19011:2018 standards, operation of the Siemens NX program (CAD/CAM environments), broadly understood cybersecurity, including data management, data protection, safety audit, substance analysis using the GC method and its practical application, work with optical emission spectrometry technique with induced plasma (ICP-OES), research in liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry, work on analytical apparatus and ASS technique, equipment and construction of the Boeing 737NG aircraft, cultivation and use of medicinal plants in health prevention, dietetics and prevention, use of English language in work. The target group of the project is teaching staff, employed (regardless of form) at the National Academy of Applied Sciences in Chełm. The tasks of the project include the implementation of courses, postgraduate studies, training, in the area of obligatory competences and related to subject teaching, taking into account the specificity of the area of education / scientific discipline - based on individual preferences / training needs. Training activities directly related to current or future didactic or scientific/didactic activities. Acquisition of qualifications/competences in accordance with the guidelines for monitoring material progress in the implementation of programmes for 2021-2027. Lack of equality barriers in the subject area of the intervention and the scope of the project's impact - equally open to K and M within the fields of education/area of implementation of activities. In the process of researching training needs, all university teachers were given the opportunity to indicate competence deficits requiring intervention and to report their training needs/propose appropriate forms of support in the context of the education process. The online form of the survey (based on the survey/form sent by collective correspondence) did not discriminate against any of the sexes, including persons with disabilities.
