The main objective of the project is to increase the qualifications/competences of students of supported fields of study, which will be adapted to the needs of the economy and the labour market, and to develop the qualifications/competences of the staff involved in the implementation of the education process in supported fields by including in the Integrated University Program (IPP) the fields of pharmacy, medical analytics, cosmetology I and II st., physiotherapy and midwifery II st. in the period 02.05.2024 - 31.10.2029 The goal will be achieved through the implementation of 4 tasks (KD3), which are aimed at adapting the university's offer to the needs of the development of the economy, the socio-economic environment and the green and digital transformation: 1. modification of education programs to the defined needs of supported courses adapted to the requirements of the socio-economic environment, 2. organization of trainings, workshops, additional practical classes, study visits and internships for students, 3. implementation of actions aimed at reducing the phenomenon of early school leaving and recruitment of informed candidates, 4. organization of trainings for academic teachers conducting teaching classes in supported courses, including mandatory trainings on the green transition and digital competences. The target group of the project is (KD5): 1. students of courses supported by: a total of 501 people (378K,123M) 2. academic teachers involved in the implementation of the education process in the fields covered by the support: a total of 128 people (106K,22M). Main results of the project: - 1 entity of the higher education and science system that adapted education to the needs of the development of the economy and the green and digital transitions, - 566 people participating in higher education who acquired competences/qualifications thanks to ESF+ support. The activities planned as part of the project implementation are based on the Applicant's experience, are a response to diagnosed needs, expectations of participants and eliminate barriers, including equality. Based on the analysis and verification of the collected data, the final list of activities was created, which will provide comprehensive support allowing for the increase of competences/qualifications of participants - it will contribute to the achievement of the project objective and obtaining indicators. The scope of the project is in line with: 1. UMED STRATEGY (https://umed.pl/pliki/2014/12/folder_STRATEGIA-2021-2025-2.pdf) in the field of education through strategic objective 2: Education adapted to socio-economic changes, operational objectives 1 and 2; 3. 2nd ecoUMED programme (KH3) (https://eco.umed.pl/) 3rd KRAUM resolution of 12.06.2023 on recommendations for education in MD faculties through the development of didactic methods, care for the development of didactic competences and digital skills of academic teachers. The Applicant is a State University and thus an entity entitled to apply for funding under the call (in accordance with the Detailed Description of the FERS Priorities and the Annual Action Plan for this call) (KM1) KM2 and KM3 – not applicable to the Applicant The project complies with the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU of 26 October 2012 as regards the method of implementation and the scope of the project (KH4). The Applicant declares a durability period of 2 years from the end of the project implementation, i.e. until 2031-10-31 for all results.
