Direction at UMP - program of adapting education courses to the needs of the economy and the green and digital transformation

The aim of the project (P) is to increase the competitiveness of UMP directions: medical science, pharmacy, medical analytics, cosmetology, public health, nursing, medical biotechnology, occupational therapy, optometry, hearing prosthetics, medical rescue on the educational services market through the development of competences of 1055 students (802K-76%) and 255(153K-60%) UMP staff of supported faculties in the years 2024-2029. Specific objectives: 1. Adaptation of education programs of supported courses to the requirements of employers by introducing changes in the standard and effects of education in the field of practical elements. 1. Increasing the competences of 1055 (802K) students through participation in trainings, internships, study visits and courses relevant to the needs of the economy and the green and digital transition. 2. Reducing the phenomenon of early school leaving by 1055(802K) students through participation in compensatory classes and activities bringing the subject and program of study closer and psychological support. 2. Increasing the competences of 255(153K) UMP staff of supported majors through participation in trainings, study visits, internships and conferences in the field of modern methods of education, substantive and digital competences and the development of awareness and skills for the green transition The participants of the project will be students (ST) of the fields supported in the project and academic staff (KA) involved in the implementation of the education process in these fields. (KD5) Under P, tasks are planned: 1. Program to support the process of modifying the study programs of the fields covered by the support in response to the requirements of the labor market and the expectations of the socio-economic environment. – General module 2. Program to support the educational and career path of students - general mod. 3. Psychological support programme for students in supported faculties – General mod. 4. Integration of IT systems supporting the education process - general mod. 5. The program of classes leveling knowledge and competences including social students - general module 6. The program of raising the Comp. of experts of the UMP staff of supported directions - general mod. 7. The program of raising the UMP staff of supported directions - general mod. 8. Medical – directional module 9. Pharmacy – directional mode 10. Medical analytics – directional mod 11. Medical biotechnology - directional mod. 12. Public health – directional mod. 13. Directional nursing 14. Occupational therapy – directional mod 15. The main results of P As a result of the implementation of P will be: 1) Modified training programmes with practical elements, acquisition of competences necessary on the labour market; 2) Students will acquire practical competencies expected by employers, which will increase their competitiveness on the labour market 3) Introductory program to education and compensatory actions will reduce the phenomenon of students dropping out of the education path. 4) The UMP staff will broaden the competences enabling teaching based on the higher quality and efficiency of the teaching process using modern methods of education, substantive, digital and skills for the green transition The University is not in liquidation, has not applied to MEIN for permission to liquidate, and MEIN has not announced information about the suspension of the university's rights to conduct studies.(KD1) At the time of submitting the application, the organizational units of the university implementing activities in the project do not have a negative assessment of the quality of education of the Polish Accreditation Commission in the fields in which the activities under the project will be implemented.
