The main objectives of the project are: 1. Implementation of organizational changes in public psychological and pedagogical clinics, including specialist ones (hereinafter: PPP), in the voivodship (targeted nationwide – analogous conclusions apply to all voivodships), which result from the need to: a. changing the working model of PPPs from a medical model approach to a biopsychosocial model approach, b. strengthening the effectiveness of PPP cooperation with entities operating in the district, including those operating in other sectors (including health care, social assistance), which implement activities supporting children / learners and the environments in which they learn and raise on a daily basis (in particular their families, peer groups, teachers, educators and carers), c. coordinating the support provided by PPPs in an intra- and cross-sectoral perspective using the Intersectoral Support Model (hereinafter: MWM), developed as part of the project implemented by the Applicant, to increase the availability of PPP services, including specialist services for people in need of support. 2. Replenishment of resources in the field of PPP equipment necessary to achieve the above-mentioned objective. The activities in the project focus on the development of employees' own competences (hereinafter: OP) in PPPs, focused on knowledge and skills of its application in the field of: functional assessment, biopsychosocial model, ability to use diagnostic tools, concept of quality education for all learners, design of support based on MWM. It will also be implemented for PPPs, based on the analysis of needs, designing an organizational culture supporting changes in the work of the institution along with such management of own resources to more effectively support children and young people and their families, as well as teachers and other specialists (including educators, special educators, teachers co-organizing the educational process, psychologists, speech therapists, pedagogical therapists) employed in kindergartens, schools and institutions from the area of operation of the clinic. As part of task 2, support was planned for PPPs that will receive grants and for PPPs that will not receive grants. The planned support is much greater than the support resulting from the competition document, so that the implemented solutions are systemic changes, consistently implemented at the voivodship (national) level. As part of the activities for PPPs that will not receive a grant, at least 80% of PPPs from the region (instead of 50% entered in the competition documentation) will receive training support. This means that 46 out of 49 PPPs from Małopolska will be trained for at least 64 hours. The remaining 3 PPPs, which will not receive training support in this time (they will not apply for the project for independent reasons to the Applicant), will receive full access to the online training materials, which will be prepared by the Applicant and placed on the free Moodle platform (access for all PPPs in the voivodship, ultimately - nationwide). The adopted training model assumes that 100% of PPPs will have access to the content of the training (in various forms: on-site training, on-line training, access to course content on Moodle). The aim of the training strategy planned in this way is to enable all POs to improve their competences and to harmonise the knowledge of PPPs in this area, which in the long term will allow for systemic changes and the creation of networks of cooperating entities. Project implementation period 01.04.2025-31.03.2028. The University of Silesia signed a letter of intent on cooperation with the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow.
