Digital Development Clubs - Support Project (KRC Support)

The project ‘Digital Development Clubs – Support Project (KRC Support)’ will be implemented throughout Poland in the period from 01.09.2023 to 31.12.2028 in a non-competitive mode by: Digital Poland Project Centre (CPPC) and Partners: Partner 1 - Pro Cultura Foundation (FPC) Partner 2 - International Outsourcing Institute (MIO) Partner 3 - Education Without Barriers - Foundation for the Development of Education in Poland (EBB) Partner 4 - Association of the City on the Internet (SMWI) Partner 5 - Lodz University of Technology (PL) Its aim is to provide substantive support to local centres for the development of digital competences - Digital Development Clubs (hereinafter ‘DDCs’) implemented throughout Poland in the period from 1 September 2023 to 31 December 2028. As part of the project, the beneficiaries will receive substantive support, participating in projects selected in a competitive manner (pilotage and scaling of the KRC). The project is the first element of the implementation of measure 01.09 Development of digital competences of the FERS, i.e. it will be preceded by the launch of the pilot and scaling of the KRC and will be implemented during the implementation of the projects selected in the KRC Pilotage and KRC Scaling competitions. This will enable the development of recommendations, good practices and standards for running the KRC. They will provide a framework for the functioning of the KRC during the piloting and scaling phases, and will then provide substantive support to KRC educators throughout the implementation (including through training of KRC staff). Specific objectives of the project: • developing, by 31 March 2024, a framework for the functioning of the KRC in Poland containing minimum requirements for municipalities and entities implementing local KRC, in order to ensure a common standard of operation of 2 064 KRC, • developing, by 31 December 2025, materials and lesson plans for KRC educators, as well as updating materials in the subsequent stages of the project, • training of at least 128 KRC educators in 2024 (pilotage) and at least 4 000 educators by 2028 (scaling), • preparing, launching and maintaining an educational and communication platform in the period up to 31 December 2028, • disseminating the assumptions of the functioning of the KRC and digital competences until 31 December 2028, • developing a catalogue of good practices for KRC educators in supporting the development of digital competences of society, in particular those at risk of digital exclusion, • providing ongoing support to KRC beneficiaries and educators until 30.12.2028 at the pilot and scaling stage (substantive support, provision of educational materials, networking meetings) The project will implement tasks designed to achieve the above-mentioned objectives (described in detail later in the proposal) The activities will be addressed to the following target groups: Directly: • educators/people who are local animators of the KRC community Indirectly • beneficiaries of the ‘Digital Development Clubs – Pilotage’ and ‘Digital Development Clubs – Scaling’ competitions, i.e. NGOs and NGO partnerships, e.g. with JST. • to the general public (in terms of dissemination activities at national level), • to adults using the KRC, the project will achieve the result of: • 80 KRC networking meetings, and products: • Creation of a tool - an educational and communication platform providing access to educational resources • 2,064 local KRCs with advisory support • 4,128 educators – local KRC animators with training and advisory support. • 12 types of training materials (in the form of complete courses) • Study on the framework for the functioning of the KRC (policy paper) • Publication summarizing good practices in running the KRC (online and paper version) • Implementation of the dissemination campaign for the development of digital competences. through the KRC
