Development of professional competences and qualifications of medical carers, responding to the epidemiological and demographic needs of the country

The main goal of the project is to raise the qualifications of 9,000 medical caregivers in areas relevant to the epidemiological and demographic needs of the country between 2025 and 2029, through their participation in qualification courses or improvement courses as part of continuous professional development. Achieving the objective will include: 1. Organization of the qualification course so-called. MED.14 for 7 000 caregivers (OM) in order to complete the qualification and acquire the right to provide medico-care and care services to a sick and dependent person in the scope of the MED.14 qualification. The qualification course consists of a theoretical part in the form of e-learning - 140 hours of lectures - and a practical part in a stationary form with the necessity of personal participation - 120 hours. (15 days of training). After completing the qualification course, the scope of OM's medical activities will include, among others, performing selected medical activities in medical entities and in organizational units of social assistance or in the home environment; administering medicinal products to a sick and dependent person at the request of a doctor or nurse; collection of germinal products for laboratory and microbiological testing; performing diagnostic tests. Currently, only a part of OMs who started their education in the profession from 1 September 2021 are qualified to provide nursing and care activities and selected medical activities classified as MED.14. Persons who implemented the program before the amendment are entitled to provide nursing and care activities to a sick or dependent person, without the activities of MD. (assigned to a professional qualification marked MED.0.3). OM's implementation of the qualifying course will allow you to obtain permission to perform selected medical activities previously reserved for the nurse profession. This will allow better use of the huge potential of medical personnel such as OM. 2. Organization of a k. dosk. for 2000 OM in order to deepen and update the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out professional activities as part of the mandatory continuous professional development of the MD staff. Courses will be delivered in a stationary or e-learning form, will include 32 hours of lectures, 4 training days. OM will have the opportunity to update their knowledge, get acquainted with the latest medical guidelines and possibilities of using, among others, digital tools to perform OM activities. 3. Design support in the form of: - a free virtual pdf script for the qualification course and for the k. perfecting, made available by the CMKP e-learning platform - co-financing of travel and accommodation for participants of the practical part of the qualification course and participants of the k. perfecting-stationary - dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dof. dot. textbooks indicated in the programs as recommended literature - catering during stationary courses - for participants of the MED.14 qualification courses. co-financing the purchase of a tablet supporting the implementation of 140 hours of the e-learning part and the use of the virtual script. Providing free chickens and additional travel and accommodation costs will enable OMs, who belong to low-paid professional groups, to raise their qualifications, so important for health protection systems and ultimately recipients of the services provided by OMs. Completion of the above-mentioned courses will allow you to acquire knowledge and new qualifications or update your already possessed knowledge and skills of OM. Currently, the OM profession, in relation to the potential it represents, is not fully used. Expanding the qualifications of 9000 OM is important from the point of view of current and future staffing needs of health protection systems. Information about the project and courses can be found on the website www.cmkp.edu.pl, both in the description of the implemented project as well as in the tab dedicated to courses and in social media. In addition, the information will be forwarded to the Nationwide. It's a stow. OM; OM portal and MD schools in the profession.
