University of Technology available

The aim of the project is to increase the widely understood availability of education for people with special needs arising from the state of health (including people with disabilities), who are stationed, working, collaborating or using the offer of Gdańsk polytechnics. Based on the self-assessment based on self-assessment cards, the project will implement the DEVELOPMENT.PG path will meet all the requirements provided for this path in Annex 1 to the CPR (Access Criterion-KD4) at the exit. The project is divided into 8 complementary tasks corresponding to all 8 areas under the DEVELOPMENT path (KD5).The tasks will be implemented in particular (more in:Tasks): 1.Organisational page: Develop the structure of the Accessibility Unit and set up an Accessibility Team of 6 coordinators in key areas to improve the level of accessibility of the university. 2.Archit.:Development of accessible premises of the Accessibility Unit,Preparation and publication of information on architectural accessibility of facilities,Development of a comprehensive plan for the removal of architectural barriers,Elimination of selected barriers in architectural accessibility 3.Inf.-com.:Provide full access to the premises of the Accessibility Unit,Ensure full availability of information prepared, transmitted and published by the Accessibility Unit 4.Digital accessibility:Digital accessibility activities,Development of accessibility standards for university websites and applications,Adjustment of websites and information systems 5.Techn.supporting: Improving access to universities by providing OZN support for the hearing organ by installing induction loops in auditoriums and available sports equipment to enable participation in sports activities and preparing for the integration championships of Poland. 6.Procedures:Preparation of procedures relating to: 1) actions and proceedings in the event of threats to life and health, such as evacuation of people with special needs (OzSzP), 2) awarding services to OzN supporting education, 3) adaptation of teaching materials, 4) architectural access, 5) architectural access, information and communication effects of all investments, modernization and renovations carried out at the university, 6) ensuring accessibility for OzSzP in public procurements granted by PG. 7.Services supporting education Comprehensive support ensuring access to the recruitment process and education.Introduction of the procedure for adapting materials eddakt.Providing sign language interpreter services. Modernising the planning of activities and expenditures. 8. Measures to raise awareness of disability. Implementation of the following trainings (for 270 people): -aware training for managers (min.50% of staff) in the functioning of students (ST) with disabilities in academia; -awareness for teaching and administrative staff; -specialist school. The implementation of the above-mentioned tasks, at each stage, in cooperation with the FIRR and the PG academic community, as well as cooperation with BON UG, one of the universities of the Fahrenheit Association, whose representatives conduct activities for the OzN, will allow for a better understanding of needs and design effective solutions related to the opening of the university to people for whom access is currently limited (KD8). PG as an entity (KD1) and the participants of the project (UP) will be its employees (management, teaching, administrative staff of the university, employees of accessibility units): 270(140K and 130M) who will take part in trainings adapting qualifications or competences in the field of accessibility. The main project RESULT will be the implementation by PG of solutions to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities (ON,OzN). The result will also be 216 (112K and 104M) people participating in trainings that have acquired competences or qualifications thanks to ESF+ support.
