The aim of the project is to further reduce barriers to the use of the educational offer of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Warsaw University of Life Sciences) in 2025-2028 and to create and promote a friendly academic environment for people with special needs, including disabilities (OSP/OzN) in formalised cooperation with the Project Partner; increasing the awareness and competence of administrative, teaching and managerial staff through basic and/or specialised awareness training and strengthening the staff-friendly environment. Removing barriers in SGGW will be achieved through the implementation of 8 ordinary tasks and task no. 9 indirect costs. The planned tasks cover all 8 areas of accessibility, including the development of modern supporting technologies, digital tools and information and communication activities. GD: the university as an entity directly benefiting from ESF Plus and UP1 and UP2 support. The project at all its key stages will be implemented in formalized cooperation with non-governmental organizations acting in the name and on behalf of TSOs/NPOs, i.e. the Institute for Regional Development Foundation (hereinafter referred to as FIRR), 1) selected in accordance with the provisions of Art. 2nd paragraph of 28 April 2022 on the rules for the implementation of tasks financed from European funds in the 2021-2027 financial perspective (Journal U. 2022, item 1079), 2) the creation/initiation of the partnership took place in accordance with Art. 4 of DN. 28 April 2022 on the rules for the implementation of tasks financed from European funds in the financial perspective 2021 2027, i.e. before submitting the application for co-financing. The partnership assumes the development of a stable and efficient support structure for TSOs/NSOs, which will guarantee the provision of services during the implementation of the project and after its completion. MAIN DIRECT RESULTS OF THE PROJECT: increasing the competences of the University's management staff regarding basic awareness and specialist training. Increased competence of teaching and administrative staff in basic awareness and specialist training. Increase in advanced competences of staff representatives in particular issues related to disability, in the field of technology, procedures, psychologist support, standards of educational support for universal design - including, above all, universal design of education as part of comprehensive documented training (8 areas of accessibility). Increased competences of representatives of student self-government and other organizations associating students and doctoral students in the field of awareness training and support for the support process in various areas. LONG-TERM RESULTS OF THE PROJECT: ensuring that TSOs/NSOs can take full advantage of the higher education offer and operate in a supportive environment. The implementation of P universities in the field of accessibility of higher education is crucial for many reasons that fit both in the social and economic context, namely: Increasing equality in education - the project can significantly contribute to reducing social inequalities. Access to tertiary education is often restricted for TSOs/NSOs. Improving accessibility can help to level educational opportunities at the academic level. Local community development - Universities that are more accessible can attract a stud. TSOs/NSOs from a variety of backgrounds, including local, often neglected areas. This, in turn, can contribute to the development of these communities through the return of educated graduates who can be agents of change. Support for TSOs/TSOs-P of the university will include the improvement of conditions for TSOs/TSOs.
