Since 1996, the University of Warsaw (UW) has been consistently striving to ensure access to its activities and infrastructure by creating conditions for persons with disabilities and special needs to participate in the educational process, carry out research and perform their professional duties on an equal basis with other members of the academic community. Its activities are based on the social model of disability resulting from the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Accessibility, equality, inclusiveness and openness to diversity are common social values expressed in the UW Strategy 2023-2032, as well as respect for human rights and civil liberties - https://tiny.pl/dp5mr. UW is facing an increasing number of students in need of adaptation: classes, communication, infrastructure and information to meet the needs arising from disability and specific needs. The deteriorating condition of the psyche of society (https://tiny.pl/wszxd) is also reflected in the community of the University of Warsaw. In 2023 alone, out of 2,302 persons registered with the Office for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, 2,302 were registered with the Office for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. Persons with Disabilities UW (BON) 1,397 people reported difficulties with mental health during their studies. It is necessary to intensify the support of this group, but also the university staff who work with it on a daily basis. We treat accessibility as a process, which is why the aim of the project is to strengthen the potential of the University of Warsaw as an accessible university by constantly striving for excellence, planning and implementing development of a systemic nature, removing still existing barriers and expanding activities for new audiences. This project responds to the above challenges, as well as to the state of university availability and needs identified in the conducted study of the University of Warsaw community (trial 291 pers./5-6.2024), in the prepared self-diagnosis, as well as resulting from the experience of project implementation. UNIVERSITY FOR ALL-LEVEL UP (POWR.03.05), creating one comprehensive and comprehensive threshold of institutional support [KD3], including university staff (KU), including management staff (KK), representatives of students (OS) and doctoral students (OD): associated in local governments and academic organizations (SSD) and people studying neurodiverse (OSN). The availability of the University of Warsaw will increase as a result of the implementation of 4 tasks that will lead to meeting the requirements specified for the Development+ path [KD5] in 8 areas: structure of org., technology, procedures, services supporting education; Disability and Accessibility Awareness-raising Units: arch., information and communication. and digital. Results: - growth of the comp: 1500 p.m. KU, 89th ed. KK and 105 et seq. SSDs, in terms of awareness of specific needs arising from disability and different areas of accessibility; - removal of barriers architect. in the building at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 1; - implementation of new and development of existing solutions supporting the availability of education and institutional solutions increase independence (reconstruction and extension of the model) for the OSN: ADHD, ASD, ADD (480 indyw. progr. development OSN) and g/Deaf people; - implementation of solutions for new audiences - OD and OS, as well as postgraduate students and the Open University; - organization of an information and consultation point and development of technological skills for KU - strengthening the social skills/well-being of OS and KU - elimination of communication barriers by creating an academic standard of translation on PJM and procedures for access to education and events; - providing systemic access to all areas of the university's activity by creating a set of procedures. Do not identify gender-related barriers in the project. Respect for the principle of equality between women and men will apply at every stage of the project implementation, as well as during its durability. The project will be implemented taking into account the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, activities will be in accordance with the provisions of the CRPD and the Charter.
