“Do you want to improve working conditions? Improve your skills!”

For almost 20 years, the EU OSH strategic framework has played a key role in the way national organisations and social partners decide on occupational safety and health objectives, including the promotion of concrete actions in the workplace. The new OSH framework 2021-2027 announced in the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan identifies the key priorities and actions needed to improve workers’ health and safety in a post-pandemic world, taking into account the green and digital transitions, economic and demographic challenges, one of which is to target psychosocial risk factors. Already before the pandemic, around 84 million people in the EU were struggling with mental health problems. Half of workers in the EU believe that stress is a widespread phenomenon in their workplace. The pandemic has only exacerbated this problem. Prolonged stress can lead to neurotic reactions(anxiety, depression).A special manifestation of prolonged stress at work is burnout.Stress affects the condition of the workplace: increases sickness absenteeism and accidents at work, reduces productivity. That is why it is so important to diagnose this phenomenon in the work environment, and then take corrective and preventive actions.Pre-relationships are a natural subject for the implementation of such actions. They only need appropriate tools. The aim of the project is to increase the competences of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs ‘Solidarity’ in the area of shaping safe and hygienic working conditions through their participation in trainings/workshops and through educational and dissemination activities. In particular, the activities planned in the project will allow for the correct identification and prevention of the most common occupational risks such as: stress, burnout, psychosocial risks. Participants in the project will receive substantive support. They will develop proposals for solutions for employers to deal with stressful situations, burnout. These proposals may in the future be included in agreements between workers' representatives and employers or in company collective agreements (ZUZP). The activities undertaken in the project are aimed at strengthening the participation of workers' representatives/medicines, including Social Labour Inspectors, in ensuring safe and hygienic working conditions.Without the support of the Partner, it would not be possible to carry out these activities on such a large scale. Tasks planned in the project: Task 1Health and safety training: as a result, 954 prest.NSZZ"S"will increase its competences in the field of OSH, 3 electronic publications containing good practices will be created. Zad.2.SIP Forum Workshops: strengthening the participation of employees' representatives/medicines in the creation of safe and hygienic working conditions, preparing proposals for legislative changes, analysing good practices and problems in the area of OSH (casy). Task.3.Educational campaign and dissemination of good practices in the field of OSH: an educational brochure on the role of occupational health and safety associations and SIP in ensuring safe and hygienic employment conditions will be developed, an educational spot will be created showing the social factor, i.e. occupational health and safety associations and SIP in ensuring high occupational health and safety standards at the workplace, 2 conferences will be held (educational and dissemination conference No. 1 in the half of the project implementation and educational and dissemination conference No. 2 at the end of the project implementation) The Applicant and the Partner undertake to comply with horizontal principles, including: the principles of equality between women and men, the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, including accessibility for persons with disabilities, the principles of sustainable development (e.g. ecology, e.g. water and energy saving, re-use of resources) At the stage of preparing the application for funding, equality barriers in the thematic area of the intervention or the scope of the impact of the project were not diagnosed. If they occur during the implementation of the project, appropriate intervention measures will be taken.
