The project ‘Coordination of social policy activities for the Łódzkie Region’ will be implemented from 01.11.2023 to 31.12.2028. The aim of the project is to harmonise the social inclusion policy implemented in the region, as well as to develop a mechanism for its better coordination and better flow of information between the national and regional levels and between various entities within the voivodship by 2028. The project will include activities in the field of diagnosing and monitoring the situation in the area of social inclusion in the region, planning interventions, organizing and supporting social assistance institutions, entities dealing with social assistance and integration, family support institutions, foster care and adoption and their cooperation, supporting local governments in the development of services provided in the local community and in the implementation of new ways of action and solutions and models developed to manage change, supporting municipalities in the creation of CUS, organizing training for employees of social assistance and integration institutions, entities providing social services, as well as entities organizing the family support system, foster care and adoption and its environment, as well as coordination activities at regional level regarding the development of the social economy. The result of the project will be the support of 1231 employees employed in institutions and entities working for social inclusion, of which 1170 will improve their qualifications. In addition, 50% of local government units will develop and implement local or regional plans for the deinstitutionalization of social services. As part of the support of project participants, the following tasks are planned: Task 1.Coordinate social policy activities in the region, Task 2. Implementation of actions for the development of social policy in the region. These tasks take into account the implementation of all activities [I - XVI], which are mandatory and result directly from the provisions of the EDP and the recruitment rules. The actions will be implemented in accordance with the accepted demarcation line. In the project, the Regional Centre for Social Policy in Łódź will not carry out activities that will strengthen institutions providing institutional care.
