The aim of the project is to support patients or carers with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia disorders for a period of at least 24 months, by launching and running a nationwide free helpline and providing at least 35,000 advice through it. The main results of the project are the provision of 35,000 advices and the number of nationwide public helplines providing free information and psychological support in the field of Alzheimer's disease and other dementia disorders. The target group includes Alzheimer's and dementia patients together with their carers, including informal carers and employees of health and social care providers. The material scope of the project includes: - launching a nationwide free helpline for patients with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia disorders or their caregivers; - training the helpline team in providing telephone information or via chat; - conducting a nationwide information campaign on the substantive scope of the hotline's activity; creation of a nationwide knowledge base on basic forms of support for people with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia disorders and their carers; - development of recommendations for the further operation of the hotline. Contact within the nationwide helpline will give the opportunity to confidentially talk with consultants, psychologist and other specialists (e.g. occupational therapist, lawyer). The project activities will be in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities as well as accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people. The applicant declares the availability of all project products (which were not considered neutral) - in accordance with Annex 2 to the Guidelines for the implementation of equality principles under EU funds for 2021-2027. The project implementation period was postponed due to the later announcement of the call than planned at the stage of preparing the project fiche, the project implementation period (31 months) was maintained, as it is necessary for the implementation of the project assumptions.
