The European Green Deal (EGD) and climate neutrality are a challenge for the country and society as a whole. It requires working on awareness, attitudes and understanding of purpose, which requires giving citizens a sense of agency and showing benefits. Therefore, in order to achieve the objectives of the EZŁ, the focus should be on the social layer and the creation of tools that will facilitate understanding of the challenges, carrying out real actions and mitigating concerns about the effects of the transition. Part of this will be the innovations developed in our INKUBATOR, which is a joint initiative of three entities providing UNIQUE KNOW HOW FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SELECTION OBJECTIVES. These are: -SENSE has been creating social innovation [IS] since 2016. Many years of experience, know-how and resources (personal, organizational, technical and financial) give the company the full ability to be an IS INCUBATOR, developing an ecosystem that effectively searches for, incubates and disseminates IS. The Association of Polish Cities (ZMP), being the largest organization in the country associating local governments of cities, in which a total of 78% of residents live, is close to the challenges that urban communities live, can name their problems and understand the needs, but also the limitations. The aim of the involvement of ZMP is to make IS useful by consulting the problem areas indicated by the innovators [INNO], participating in the assessment of the concept and helping to reach social activists and people with the vision of making the environment green and friendly and in the wide dissemination of products. Code for Green Foundation [FCFG] is a leader among environmental organizations, operating since 2018 in the field of environmental and climate education. Its representatives will bring to INKU expert knowledge on the challenges of the energy transition, climate change and effective cooperation with communities. In the INKU, the FCFG will participate in the phases of evaluation of applications and dissemination, but above all in pre-/incubation, where it will be important to include the perspective of IS users and SOCIAL RECIPIENCE, as a critical element determining the success of IS data. The main objective of the GREENowacje project is to support the incubation process of 30 social innovations (KD6) in the period 1.11.2024-31.12.2027, allowing for faster, cheaper and more efficient solving of problems in the field of green transition in the social and economic dimension. -acquiring or improving skills, competences or qualifications -increasing awareness and shaping attitudes supporting the process -improving the quality of life and the environment or reducing the social costs of the green transition, as part of the collective dimension of mitigation and adaptation to climate change. The project is nationwide (KD4) and is addressed to 30 grantees [GB] with an idea for innovation (tool, method, etc.) and supported by the project. RESULTS: -30 innovations accepted for co-financing -3 tested and disseminated IS. The project will cover the following tasks (KD2) - description of services in the Strategy (KD3): 1. Active recruitment (PREINKUBACJA) - will include 2 calls, under which: *we will set up an advisory team [ZD] (composition described in 1) *we will conduct environmental consultations [KŚ] *we will organize GREEN_CAMP *we will conduct recruitment and evaluation of applications by experts [EXP] and tutors [TUT] *we will conduct pre-incubation (2 workshops: offline and offline) 2. Grants (INCUBACTION), including: -we will select the best concepts for incubation -we will conclude 30 grant agreements for concept development and product refinement 3. Support for innovators at every stage of IS generation and testing (INCUBATION), i.e.: -we will conduct 3 workshops -we will widely assist INNO in the development of their concept 4. Selection of solutions that have the greatest potential for dissemination (COMPETITIVENESS) - we will evaluate the products and choose at least 3 of the best 5. Dissemination of selected innovations (COMPETITATION) - we will develop a dissemination strategy, including product refinements, marketing activities - we will conduct GREEN DAYS (conference).
