The aim of the Project is to create an advanced interdisciplinary technological-research-environmental hub, equipped with a modern unique research infrastructure, which is a prerequisite for undertaking innovative solutions and research in key technological areas for the region, creating a friendly innovation ecosystem between Partners, academia and the Public Sector. The most important stages of the Project are the construction of 15 laboratories with high scientific and application potential, which will significantly strengthen the process of technology generation and knowledge diffusion and revitalization of the technological hall. Actions undertaken to strengthen the research infrastructure for the regional science-business partnership will increase the capacity of the actors of the regional innovation ecosystem to generate and implement innovations and modern technological solutions. Modernization of infrastructure and related activities aimed at increasing competences in the field of commercialization of research results, will strengthen the activity of the Laboratory within international consortia and research and development projects, will contribute to increasing internationalization and will provide a competitive advantage of the region on the international arena. These actions will ensure the right conditions for initiating and implementing innovations in accordance with the RIS and the PRT in the areas of smart specialisation in terms of: Emerging industries, energy, medicine, green economy. The activities planned under the Project are consistent and fit into all 4 strategic objectives of the Silesian Voivodeship. The results of the Project will allow for the internationalization and transfer of high technologies, increasing the dynamics of creating a pro-technology policy and increasing the scientific, technical and economic potential of the region resulting from a responsible transformation, providing development opportunities for its residents and offering a high quality of life. The ‘ŚLMTL’ project includes information and promotion activities aimed at informing about the financing of the project under the European Funds (FE) for Silesia 2021-2027 programme. In order to inform the public about the obtained co-financing from the FE, we plan to include the signs of the European Funds, the Colours of the Republic of Poland, the European Union and the Silesian Voivodeship in all information activities related to the project and documents related to the implementation of the project. The place of implementation of the project will be appropriately marked by the placement of permanent information boards and a permanent commemorative plaque. In addition, information posters will be placed at the venue of events/conferences organised by ‘ŚLMTL’. All equipment, items of equipment created or purchased under the project will be permanently labelled with stickers, thus meeting the labelling requirements. A description of the project will be posted on the official website and on social media. The planned information and promotion events will be organised at key moments of the project implementation, inviting representatives of the European Commission and the Managing Authority in good time. Informing the institutions about important stages of the project and keeping systematic documentation of information and promotion activities is an integral part of the action plan.
