Automated, universal mobile station for assembly and welding of rail vehicle wagons

The aim of the project is to carry out industrial and development works for the development of an automated, universal mobile station for the assembly and welding of rail vehicle wagons. This objective results directly from the industrial situation of manufacturers of railway, tram and metro wagons, which concerns the low degree of automation of the described industry sector, when, at the same time, the indicated structures have restrictive requirements in terms of geometric and dimensional tolerance (which results from the high overloads to which they are subject in the process of their use). The aim of optimising the costs of the process (in environmental and financial terms) and ensuring passenger safety is important to focus during the production of wagon boxes on the element of precision with which the increase in the degree of automation and mechanization directly correlates. The new product is the answer to the described problem, but due to its functionality, the planned dimensions of the station (17m length x 5m width x 4.5m height) and the maximum weight (40 tons) is a real construction challenge. The aim of its implementation is to establish a broad research team, including both constructors and contractors of the prototype and its components, and to involve a scientific unit. The project itself will have a significant impact on the development of the industry and smart specialisations (RIS), concerns research in the area of the Green Deal (European Green Deal) and fits into the Policy Agenda for the European Research Area through synergies with Horizon Europe. Information and promotion activities will start immediately after the signature of the grant agreement. All activities in this area will consist in informing the public, including the recipients of the project results and persons and entities participating in the project about the progress of the project, as well as about its completion. The Company undertakes to strictly comply with the rules on information and promotion of the project in accordance with the guidelines contained in the ‘Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of European Funds for 2021-2027 on information and promotion’, consisting of: 1. Placing the required signs of the European Funds, the European Union together with the logotype of the Silesian Voivodeship: - on promotional and information documents relating to the project and on the website and on social media; - documents directly related to the implementation of the project made public, in particular on tender documents and notices. 2. Placing an information board at the project implementation site immediately after signing the grant agreement, 3. Placing information about the implementation of the project on the official website of the company. 4. Placing a description of the project and providing up-to-date information on the progress of the investment in social media, 5. Provide a description and photos on the EU grant map. https://cadesigner.pl/
