Development of sustainable urban transport mobility in Gliwice

The main objective of the project is to adapt the ITS system to the challenges of sustainable urban mobility, including climate change and the promotion of low-emission transport, which will be achieved through the following tasks: - modernisation and extension of the ITS system (with particular emphasis on pedestrians, cyclists and persons with disabilities), - modernisation and extension of the system for identifying vacant parking spaces, - extension of the system of preferential treatment of public transport vehicles . The implementation of the above actions will translate directly into the promotion of non-automobile urban mobility, i.e. it will give priority to vulnerable road users (including people with disabilities) and improve public transport, thereby improving air quality and the health of residents. The promotion of the project will be carried out throughout the duration of the project and during the durability period in accordance with the Manual of the applicant and beneficiary of the FE 2021-2027 on information and promotion. A plaque will be placed at the project implementation site, i.e. in the ZDM. Both the developer's and the beneficiary's websites will contain data on this project. Logotypes will be placed on both the board and websites, as well as on: all external documents (e.g. tender documents, signed contracts or acceptance protocols prepared by the contracting authority); purchased equipment (if possible), equipment - by placing permanent stickers on them in a clearly visible place and placing labels on control cabinets. It is also planned to post the description of the project on social media by adding hashtags: #EU Funds or #European Funds for each entry. All planned activities are in line with the "Accessibility Standards for Cohesion Policy 2021-2027" https://gliwice.eu/EU-projects
