The subject of the project is the construction of a section of the N-S route from Bielszowicka Street to the connection with the A-4 motorway within ul. 1 May in Ruda Śląska, including the construction of a provincial road with a length of approx. 690 m including associated infrastructure, in particular: - construction of a section of the N-S route from Bielszowicka Street (without a junction) to the connection with the A-4 motorway (without a junction), - construction of the P-1 junction connecting ul. 1 May with the N-S Route in the vicinity of ul. Mostowa Street, - reconstruction of ul. 1 May from the railway crossing to the A4 motorway, - reconstruction of the inlets of transverse roads to ul. 1 May: ul. Liberation, ul. Polna, ul. Mostowa and ul. Olimpijska, - construction of access roads to service infrastructure, - construction of a car park, - construction of pavements and bicycle paths, - installation of lighting (roadways and pedestrian and bicycle routes), - construction of elements of the drainage system with elements of environmental protection, i.e. separators, settlers, retention tanks. - execution of road safety elements such as: protective barriers, horizontal and vertical markings, - demolition of road and street elements, - construction of acoustic screens to protect areas adjacent to the N-S route from the harmful effects of noise caused by vehicle traffic, - construction of a traffic management system (telematics - VMS variable content signs, video-detection). The city will implement information and promotion activities in accordance with the requirements of the General Regulation, Guidelines on information and promotion of European funds for 2021-2027, in accordance with the Visual Identity Book of the European Funds 2021-2027 brand. As part of the project, it is planned to: - 2 information and commemorative plaques - 2 press conferences - at the beginning and at the end of the investment. Representatives of the MA FESL 2021-2027 and the European Commission will be invited to participate in the events. The service of sign language interpreter and English - family picnic - will be provided in the road traffic town (neighborhood of the N-S route). Information and educational activities will be carried out, among others, on the use of bicycle paths, in the field of road safety (rental of an event simulator and rollover), first aid. Reflective vests and reflective kits for picnic participants will be made. Biodiversity workshops will be held. At their end, participants will receive seedlings of plants - a 10 km race and runs for children - the event preceding the opening of the section of the N-S route will also be addressed to athletes with disabilities - 2 promotional films - at the beginning and at the end of the investment.
