The project called ‘Purchase of zero-emission rolling stock’ consists in the purchase of 26 pieces of modern, energy-efficient rolling stock adapted to the needs of people with disabilities along with long-term maintenance. The project is in line with the scope and objectives of Priority IV of the European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 programme: "European Funds for Efficient Transport". The beneficiary of the project is the Silesian Voivodeship, while the entity responsible for implementation is Koleje Śląskie, which provides a public transport service under a transport contract. The entity responsible for maintaining the products is the Silesian Voivodeship. The place of implementation of the project is the seat of the beneficiary, while the rolling stock, which is the product of the project, will move on the transport routes S1, S13, S31, S4, S5, S6, S7, S71, S78, S8 operated by Koleje Śląskie. In accordance with the Applicant's and Beneficiary's Manual (...), the Beneficiary is obliged to carry out information and promotion activities, i.e. to inform the public (including recipients of project results) and persons and entities participating in the project about the funding obtained. In view of the nature of the project and its cost exceeding EUR 10 million, i.e. the purchase of EZT, the Beneficiary intends to: • Mark all information and promotion activities relating to the project with the European Union and European Funds labels; all documents relating to the implementation of the project which shall be made public; documents and materials for persons and entities participating in the project, put an information board at the place of implementation of the project; • Inform about the project on the Applicant's social media, as well as post information about the project on the Applicant's website. • Organise at least 1 event promoting the project (e.g. participation in the TRAKO and/or INNOTRANS railway fair or organisation of an open day with the presentation of new rolling stock and its equipment).
