The aim of the project is to increase the employment opportunities of people registered in the District Labour Office in Katowice as unemployed, in particular those in a difficult situation on the labour market, i.e. women, older people (aged 50 and over), people with disabilities, long-term unemployed, low-skilled people and young people aged 18-29, especially from the NEET group, single parents, leaving foster care, of migrant origin. As part of the project, participants will be offered support in the identification of needs, analysis of skills, predispositions and professional problems of a given participant, as well as comprehensive and individual job placement or career counselling. In addition, the participation of each young person aged 18-29 in the form of support will be preceded by an assessment of digital skills and, if necessary, complemented by a level of digital competence. On this basis, the District Labour Office in Katowice will implement appropriately selected services and labour market instruments referred to in the Act on employment promotion and labour market institutions. In addition, participants will be able to take advantage of internships with employers or receive a one-time grant to start a business. The project will run from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2024.
