Activation of unemployed persons registered with the District Labour Office in Rybnik (I)

The aim of the project implemented between 10.05.2023 and 31.12.2024 is to increase employment opportunities for people who are unemployed in Rybnik and Rybnik County, in particular the most vulnerable on the labour market (women, people aged 50 and over, with disabilities, long-term unemployed, low-skilled) and young people aged 18-29, in particular: from the NEET group, single parents, out of foster care, migrant background. As part of the project, 379 unemployed people registered in the PLO in Rybnik will be supported. People up to 30 years of age will be required to complete a survey, thanks to which they will learn their level of digital skills; People over the age of 30 will also be able to benefit from the assessment of their digital skills. If the result of the survey is low (0-10 points), people will be referred to receive training in digital skills or will benefit from training in this area at a group workshop or individual meeting with a professional adviser and IT specialist; those with a score above 10 will have the opportunity to receive training to improve their digital skills. Then, or (exceptionally) in parallel, the unemployed will be able to benefit from tailored forms of support, including the possibility of an internship or training to increase their professional qualifications/competences; they will also be able to be recruited in the context of intervention work, reimbursement of work equipment or apply for funds to start their own business. The comprehensive support offered by the project will be in line with the needs of the local/regional labour market. Participants of the project will have the opportunity to acquire professional skills/competences, among others, in the field of digital skills, green economy, related to health and care services. Recruitment for the project will be preceded by information and promotion activities among the unemployed and employers. Unemployed people will learn about the possibility of participating in the project at meetings with customer advisors at PUP Rybnik, as well as at Job Offer Fairs, Job Fairs and other events organized by the local office. Employers will learn about the implementation of the project during the visits that PUP Rybnik employees make to them. In addition, information about the implementation of the project will be posted on the website www.rybnik.praca.gov.pl and on the social networks of the office (including Facebook, Twitter, Twitter, Twitter). Facebook and Instagram). Posters promoting the project will be placed at the headquarters of PUP Rybnik and at the Local Information and Consultation Point in Czerwionka-Leszczyny.
