Activation of unemployed persons registered with the District Labour Office in Katowice (II)

The aim of the project is to increase the employment opportunities of people registered in the District Labour Office in Katowice as unemployed, in particular those in a difficult situation on the labour market, i.e. women, older people (aged 50 and over), people with disabilities, long-term unemployed, low-skilled people and young people aged 18 - 29, especially from the NEET group, single parents, leaving foster care, of migrant origin. As part of the project, participants will be offered support in the field of identification of needs, analysis of skills, predispositions and professional problems, as well as comprehensive and individual job placement and/or career guidance. In addition, the participation of each young person aged 18-29 in the form of support will be preceded by an assessment of digital skills using the European Digital Competence Assessment Tool (European Digital Competence Framework for Citizens DigComp) or another tool recommended and made available by the minister responsible for work or another digital competence assessment tool at the disposal of the project developer, and the level of digital competence will be supplemented if necessary. On this basis, the District Labour Office in Katowice will implement appropriately selected services and labour market instruments referred to in the Act on employment promotion and labour market institutions. In addition, participants will be able to take advantage of job placements with employers or receive a one-off grant to start a business. The project will be implemented from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026.
